A wonderful afternoon of fancy footwork, tea, cake and fabulous company. The Jive Temptation Vintage tea dance in Benson today was so much fun...great live music by The Ding D**g Daddios. I miss dancing, need to find time to do this more

Hi Sarah. I just wanted to say what a fabulous time I had at the Benson Temptation Tea Dance. When I wrote my first ever article about Tea Dances for my blog, as you remembered rightly, I featured your Tea Dances so it was great to visit at last. Chatting with people it was easy to see that you have created a well-loved Sunday afternoon venue with Mark’s wonderful mix of relaxed music. Even though I travel widely I was surprised that I recognised only one face amongst your dancers. It mattered little, as they all proved very friendly and I was made to feel very welcomed. I know you said that numbers were a little down on what they usually are, but I was impressed just how many people had turned up and there was a lovely atmosphere in the room. My thanks to the ladies for my lovely dances and a special thanks to those who gave me a little of their dance time to talk about this wonderful Sunday afternoon venue. I’ll try to get to one of your other venues in the summer and write a full review for the blog.
