A difficult evening last night for the lads against a strong Haltwhistle side who showed exactly why they’re in the hunt for the league title. They were the better team on the night and punished too many mistakes from Tyne.

Despite the result, there were still positives to take. We struck the bar twice and took our goal well, but unfortunately it just wasn’t meant to be this time.

An end to a tough season for the club, with plenty of new faces coming together throughout the year. There’s no doubt this group still needs time to gel, but the foundations are there and we’ll be back next season stronger, hungrier and ready to go again.
