Not every goal needs to be loud.
Not every season of your life is built for big, bold moves. Some seasons are quieter than that.
The kind where energy is low.
Where confidence feels fragile.
Where even starting can feel like too much.
But it doesn’t have to be loud to matter,
Sometimes the post powerful thing you can do for yourself it to set a quiet intention,
Just for you… and start.
I am co-hosting a workshop on April 25th with somatic breathwork, ashtanga yoga and a spring intention session which is a great opportunity to clear some space and set some new personal intentions for yourself. If you like the sound of this check the booking link in bio 🌼

You don’t have to feel excited to work out.
If you wait until you feel motivated, you might never start.
A client said to me recently, “Please don’t take it personally if I don’t seem enthusiastic.” She wants to train and feel like herself again but she’s also busy, tired, and carrying a lot.
I reassured her there are zero expectations on how she needs to show up. Because two things can be true at the same time: you can want to train and feel flat or unmotivated.
From a brain perspective, this is completely normal.
Our brains are wired to conserve energy, especially when we’re stressed or exhausted. Motivation doesn’t usually come before action — it comes after it. Dopamine isn’t just released when we feel motivated; it’s released when we take action, make progress, and build a sense of competence.
That’s why showing up, even without enthusiasm, matters. Some discomfort at the start is normal, especially when confidence is low. But it’s temporary. As familiarity and capability grow, your brain starts to associate training with success rather than resistance.
You don’t need motivation to begin.
You begin — and motivation follows.
I’m opening just 3 hybrid coaching spots — once-weekly in-person sessions alongside remote coaching the rest of the week.
These will be filled on a first-come basis.
If this feels like the nudge you need, DM me “HYBRID” today.

What if you eased into the year? I find January to be filled with a sense of urgency. Christmas is already a lot, and we’re all in a hurry to get back to life as we know it, and then there’s the goals and intentions we may have set ourselves for the year. It can be a lot.
What if you allowed yourself to ease into the year, gave yourself a few weeks to adjust, and let space and clarity propel you forward.
I personally find practicing yoga a very regulating thing to do, it helps quieten my brain, and feel better and more grounded in my body,
I’m starting to teach yoga a bit again and invite you to come try, starting Saturday 17th Jan 10am at battle hill multi use centre.
It’s a 6 week course but class passes are available if you can’t make all 6. Book via booking link or DM me if you have any questions.

On mental health… and yoga,
One of the main reasons I practice yoga is for mental health, on days I feel good it’s invigorating and empowering..
On days I feel more unbalanced or dull in energy in some way, it leaves me feeling more grounded, uplifted and connected to myself.
It’s been the most important discovery for my own wellbeing, which is why I want to share it with others.
In a practice like Ashtanga where it’s very physical it could be easy to think it’s just a collection of poses and making shapes with the body and granted it can be marketed that way.
The truth for me is none of that really matters, or at least it’s not the purpose of the practice, and I don’t ever want the physicality of it stop people from trying; you don’t need anything apart from your own willingness to start!
We live in a world where lots of people are struggling and recently we lost a colleague at work so it feels closer to home again,
To get to the point I’m trying to make if any small part of anyone reading this is curious to come along to my 6 week course but you are finding reasons not to try… the door is wide open and I’d love to have you.
10am Battle Hill Multi Use Centre
