Our season came to a close on Saturday, and we’re going into the off season with more positives than negatives
Our first and second teams both finished 3rd in their divisions, and challenged for promotion from start to finish. We are waiting for confirmation from the league, but we believe that the 1st team will be promoted 🤞🏼
We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has contributed to what has been a successful season for the club. But the club wouldn’t be what it is without the sometimes underestimated effort from Andy Clayton (groundsman) and Alan Dunn (club chairman), who both work week in week out to prepare the ground, deal with club finances and all in all keep the club going. Also, Nick Dennant (club captain) for his commitment to his role, despite the arrival of a future squirrel.
A big thank you to everyone who helped in pre season to make improvements to the club. We are planning to continue improving the club before the start of next season.
Finally, well done to the lads on the field, a season to be proud of
Up the squirrels 🐿️ 🐿️🐿️
