Meet Matthew - Our U16 Girls Manager

Below is a little introduction about himself, what he does at Total Football and where he aspires to get to in his life/career. 🩵💜

🗣️ “My name is Matthew and have been with total football coaching for 9 months. I used to play grassroots football for willenhall town fc and have played in various positions throughout my footballing days. This has helped give me a well rounded understanding of the game and how to push the team forward. Outside of football, I work full time as a senior manager for jaguar Land Rover. I’m a proud father of 4 children with one of them being a player in the team I coach. I have a big passion for my local team wolves fc and when I’m not coaching you’ll find me at the molineux cheering on the lads. Aside from football I love to watch formula one racing.

At total football cf I manage the girls u16s team. They’re a great bunch of girls who make me proud to be part of the club. Coaching this team has been incredibly rewarding. What I have loved the most is watching these players grow not only as footballers but also individuals. Grassroots football teaches them valuable skills like teamwork, resilience and confidence and it amazes me to see them support eachother and their achievements. For me it’s not about teaching football, it’s about empowering the girls in these life lessons and I’m proud to be part of their journey.

My ultimate goal as a coach is to continue developing both as a leader and mentor. Short term I aim to build a strong foundation with the current team helping them reach their full potential whilst fostering a positive and supportive environment. Long term I aspire to coach at higher levels working with older age groups.
Beyond personal growth i am passionate about contributing to the development of girls football helping to inspire and empower more young girls to pursue the game at every level. I want to be part of the growing movement that’s shaping the future of women’s football and supporting the next generation of players.”

Saturday just gone our U16 girls introduced our navy blue short combo. The result may not have gone our way, but we gave everything we had out on the field. Proud of the effort, attitude and teamwork shown. 💙💪

Christmas break incoming, but the focus stays sharp. Our 1st team are ready for their next game! 🩵

This Saturday, our Women’s Team will be on the sidelines supporting the next generation of talent—our U16 Girls.

Meet Ryan - Our U11 boy’s Manager.

Below is a little introduction about himself, what he does at Total Football and where he aspires to get to in his life/career. 🩵💜

I am an Accounting and Finance student, in my first year at university, with a deep love for football. Football has been part of my life since I could walk. I enjoy playing, watching, and visiting stadiums around the world. My family are incredibly close to me, and a big part of who I am.

I am currently in my first season of coaching the under 11’s football team. The role allows me to share my passion for the game whilst helping young players develop their skills and confidence. It’s a privilege to be a part of their football journey. I take pride in creating a positive, supportive environment where teamwork and growth are at the heart of everything we do.

I would love to combine my passion for finance and football by becoming a Finance Director at a club, whilst continuing to grow as a coach and see where it takes me.
