What a day yesterday 5 x juniors fighting each with different outcomes but gain vital experience which will only aid them in their upcoming fights.
1st up Aayria (is a Kickboxer & K1 fighter) went against very skilled K1 fighter, lost on points but what evidenced in this fight between the two, was Aayria opponent landed more kicks then her which ultimately cost her the fight. Something we can easily rectified👏🏿⚒️.
2nd up Yousuf whom was supposed of been having a Muay Thai fight, then only to realise it was k1 fight (👀 😬I should’ve double checked 🤦🏾‍♂️😗).
Yousuf made the necessary justments, and gained his first victory, bear in mind he’s asthmatic so it was a struggle in the 3rd Rd breathing wise, he wasn’t going to be denied👏🏿🫡.
4th up Adam brought in as a last-minute replacement, never fought before but nothing fazes him, lost on points really try his best, and that’s all I asked 👏🏿👊🏿💯.
Next up was Umaise had rematch against Jai whom he beat to win his first title, Jai had different ideas and executed game plan with perfection, unfortunately Umaise didn’t utilised all these weapons, when you’re fighting this level of opponent’s there no margin of error. He’ll learn and be stronger for it onto the next one💯🧐.
Last up Ali didn’t utilise his fighter IQ, which ultimately cost him win, as like Umaise his level of opponent will punish you for your mistakes, your game has to be perfect no off days, but Ali will come back stronger 💯🧐

Time for Connor to recalibrate, prepare and go again⚒️💯

It always amazes me the dedication that my beginner students show. Every Monday turn up with bags enthusiasm and leave with the feeling that accomplish something.
Come and get involved in our class if you’re beginner every Monday, and we also have other classes during the week, that caters for all levels, whether you’re beginner or pro.

Connor & Zakariya will representing Blacksmith Academy this Saturday at CFS. It’s our first time on the show, so you know what get with Blacksmith’s fighters pure entertainment 👊🏿💯

Yesterday was a day of mixed results for three young Blacksmith juniors fighters;
1st up was Aariya, whom came to this fight with self-doubt questioned whether she was good enough, her parents and myself had to reassure her that she was good enough. Well Aariya perform abnormally to get the win against a very tough opponent who did everything possible to derail her from a victory, well done onwards & upwards….welcome to Blacksmith fighters crew.
2nd up Ali against a opponent whom he has beaten twice to titles this year, but one thing I know about junior fight game is, if let bad habits reappear (we work so hard too eradicate them habits) you’ll ultimately fail/lose and that’s what happened via unanimous decision, got complacent with opponent whom was determined not to lost third time in row. 3rd up Umaise, in title fight which he was in control of until he let his emotions get the better of him. In other words his opponent wasn’t going to wilt/crumble he stay focus and determined, because of that Umaise let his frustrations cloud his fight IQ, which culminated in him losing on a split decision.
And morals of this story is BOYZ, your winning streak has come to an end…..Stay Humble Stay Hungry Work Hard, as junior’s you win some you lose some, if you can expect that than you’re on right path.

Also I like to thank Connor for giving up his Sunday, during his fight camp preparation for his big fight at the end of the month, to come and help me as a cornerman….Much appreciated 👊🏿🙏🏿💯

Zakariya didn’t get the win yesterday, ultimately because he forgot his fundamentals, loading up on his shots, which allowed opponent capitalise on his mistakes and get into a rhythm from which his opponent got the deserve to win. Zakariya knows what he did wrong, and that’s all I need to know👊🏿🖤……..Big thank too my corner crew Gabi & Connor and also to those whom came out to support him👊🏿🙏🏿
