We know there are lots of people who have those thoughts and we are responding by setting up ‘Wyrley Brew & Banta’, as the flyer below summarises.

This will be a regular opportunity to meet at the clubhouse and have a chat over a cup of tea or coffee and cakes/biscuits. It will be free to anyone who wants to attend.

We are aiming to launch in early September - watch this space for more detail.

We are delighted to share that we have secured a 3 year agreement with Cheslyn Hay Parish Council to use their Rosemary Road pitches and changing rooms.
We have a long and positive relationship with the Parish Council and this arrangement secures the partnership further.
The deal enables up to 4 of our 11 v 11 teams to use their recently upgraded changing room and pitches as well as train during summer months.

Keith Hardy, Chairman of the club said ‘’With the growth in our team numbers and knowing that full sized pitches of this standard and with up to date changing rooms are difficult to find, the agreement enables us to support our future plans.‘’
He went on ‘’We have had great support from Cheslyn Hay Parish Council over the years, and we are very grateful to them’’.

The Club has Just Play sessions for anyone aged 16+ to have a social kick about at Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre astro 7 until 8 every Monday evening.
No commitment to play matches - just a regular opportunity to keep active, play football and make new friends with other like minded players.

Wellbeing Football (for those seeking to improve their mental health. Regular training and matches once a month).

6 v 6 Leisure Leagues male Veterans team.

We are also seeking committed individuals who would help us create an 11 v 11 male veterans team and Walking football teams. If you know someone who could help us, please get in touch.

In an attempt to get more teams helping at the tournament this year, we provided an incentive.
Any team that provided help had a ticket into a free draw for £200 Nike vouchers for every 3 hours they gave.

25 teams provided help and were entered and the winner was…..

Our U14s Wildcats.

Manager Jo Johnson and her family provided 39 hours of assistance.

Special mention also goes to our U15s Vikings who gave 63 hours of help and our U11s Thunder who gave 78 hours of help.

We thank every team and outside volunteer who supported the club over the 2 weekends - we will announce how we will encourage more participation nearer next year’s tournament.

The club tries to ensure that all parents are aware of the Club Welfare Officers contact details as well as those for Staffs FA, The FA and NSPCC.
These are detailed on club signposting cards that are distributed via club managers - copies are below as well as images and contact information for Steve Willis and Kerry Hunter.

We have huge ambition and huge plans but need support to make things happen for the benefit of 1,000 young people.

We are delighted to hear that Mia has been signed by Wolves Women.

Mia, a very talented player, started her football journey with one of our FA Wildcats centres before spending two seasons with our u10s Lionesses.

The club has a 26 year history of enabling girls to play football. If you have a daughter who would like to start her football journey - please get in touch.

Our Summer Football Camo has completed its second week, with lots of happy faces and positive feedback.
