In 2016 I discovered a new racket sport for adults called touchtennis (youtube it) and have since become world number 4 in singles and doubles, I also coach this and is a superb fun way to keep fit and learn skills for tennis and it can be played absolutely anywhere (parks, badminton courts, pubs, car parks, beach) at any age. I am the Midlands touchtennis (search for page) ambassador and have hosted over 25 world ranking events, but host weekly fun events for all levels including beginners. Give it a try, anyone can pick it up in 10 minutes, smaller rackets, foam balls and compact courts where you can rally like Federer. I now teach at a great Club in Wolverhampton and also in Walsall in the Arboretum, Pelsall Village where I look after the free booking systems. I've got portable floodlights for all year round play and also have 16 touchtennis courts in the Arboretum.
