Todays game saw us play away against pelsall villa colts united. The first half was a very well contested half from both teams and either side could of taken the lead. The game was 0-0 at half time. The second half was pretty much the same as the first with both teams having chances to take the lead. It was pelsall who finally made the break through close to the full time whistle to take the lead. After a final push from us trying to get back level we was undone again when the ref awarded pelsall a penalty which they converted to win the game 2-0. Was a good performance from the lads but not our day. Onto next week now. Man of the match was Mitchell Lewis

Can anyone help a local football team?
AFC Willenhall U-16s Boys are looking for around £400 from a sponsor for the forthcoming season. The money will help them buy match balls, a second strip, away tops, pegs for goals/nets and other equipment.
Your business' logo will be advertised on the player's shirts.
Willenhall Life will also do a feature on the team in the next issue of the magazine, so you'll get a bit of extra publicity.
If anyone can help, please email Kelly @ [email protected]
After a very shakey pre season we started our season today at home against queslett fc. We started the game really strong and got ourselves in the lead early on. Wasnt long till we took advantage again and was 2-0 up. They started to grow into the game a little more as the half went on and got one back which they then followed with another to get us back all square at 2-2. We gathered ourselves and showed good spirit to take back the lead and head into half time 3-2 up. Second half came and they drew level again not long into the half. But from then on we never really looked back adding a 4th followed by the 5th. We continued the pressure and ended up with another to finish the game 6-3. Goals came from Luke with a hat trick Lewis with a brace and nath with the other. Man of the match today was Luke Simons. Hopefully take this performance and build on it into next week
