The lads were back in action today with their final week of friendlies, after a week where we had 2 great training sessions we was confident that we was gonna carry that into the game but unfortunately for 3 halfs of the games it didnt happen but then the lads all decided to play how we do in training and pass and move the ball with a high intensity and got there rewards and looked like a team we all know they can be. We are gonna keep pushing the hard work and passing until they are all doing it in their sleep.

Todays MOTM's,
Jakiah

His performance in the 2nd game was the player we all know and he was influential to nearly everything the team done, always wanting the ball and looking for his team mates when they was in better positions.

Seth
I set him a task today off getting a goal all his hard work this season deserves and he did just that, he has looked a different player this season, confidence and willing to try and beat his man when gave the chance and now has the goals to go with it

🚨🚨🚨NEW SIGNINGS 🚨🚨🚨

The transfer window has been shut for a few weeks but we have managed to complete our squad with the signing of Amari who became a free agent just before the season started.

Over the short period he has been training with the team he has thoroughly impressed the management with his composure on the ball and seems to have a great reading of the game. He has fitted into our team and already feels part of the family. We have no doubt that he will play a massive role in our squad this season as he settles in & gets to know the lads! 🧡

So can we please welcome our new no7 🧡🧡

The lads were back in action today, not at our very best over the day. Work rate didnt match last weeks performance but we still scored some decent goals.

Todays MOTM's,
Oliver
worked hard up and down the wing all day and always alert to danger when needed.

Cain
Another solid performance from the mad monk, penalty saves, assists, 1on1s i think his performance had everything you want from a goal keeper.

The lads kicked off the season today with 2 great performances, worked well as a team and got our reward in the 2nd game.

Todays MOTM,
Zander worked hard and followed instructions and the game plan then got a great goal to get us going.

Nishaan planned in a new position for him and was influential to how we defended and attacked in both game. Great league debut and plenty more to come.

Mari ⚽️ 🅰️

Lastly we have secured a sponsor for the new season so thank you to the The Boat Bar & Grill Wolverhampton please give the place a follow and a visit as it amazing what they have done to the place

We had another friendly this morning against a good cresswell team.
We were low on numbers again due to holidays but it was a chance for plenty of minutes for the lads that was available.
We played some decent football in spells but there still plenty for us to sharpen up on before the season gets going in September.
There was spells in the game when we got the ball down and passed it like we do in training and we looked so much sharper and consistent and was a pleasure to watch.

The lads had a pre season friendly this morning against a good Saturday team.

There was spells in the game where the lads played some really good football and passed and moved the ball really well and scored some great team goals. With only 8 players and over 60 minutes of football at times you could see the lads were tired but they kept battling and working hard as a team.
We need to keep doing what we have been working on in training as when our passing and movement matches training we look a totally different team and a pleasure to watch.

Unfortunately a little negative was a couple of players attitudes and not wanting to play where they was asked and told to play which did cost the team a few goals which on another day could of cost us. We need everyone pulling in the same direction as 1 or 2 not working can have a bad affect on the whole game and cost us in the long term 😪😪

But as a whole we can’t moan really as it’s another 60+ minutes of football in the boys legs, and plenty of positives to take and positive signs for the season ahead
Onto the next .

🚨🚨🚨NEW SIGNINGS 🚨🚨🚨

The transfer window is in full swing and we have been busy improving our squad and are happy to announce that we have signed Nishaan & Oliver to Bilston Town Tigers!

Over the short period both lads have been with the team they have thoroughly impressed the management & everyone involved with the team. Nishaan has been with us a little longer but like Oliver they both instantly showed their talent and willingness to learn. They both have great tactical awareness, comfortable on the ball and a positive attitude to training and match days. Both have integrate seamlessly into our team and already feel part of the family. We have no doubt that they will play a massive role in our squad this season as they settle in & get to know the lads! 🧡

Bilston tigers had a great day joining other Bilston teams in the walsall park run.
But the tigers family decided to make a day of it, arriving at 8:30 this morning and not leaving until 5:30 tonight.
Great boys and great parents, watching everyone get on so well away from football is a credit to what we have all built since the team started 2 seasons ago.

The lads wrapped up their summer of tournaments today, with a great showing at the khalsa tournament getting through the group without conceding a single goal but then coming up just short in the knockouts to the eventual winners.
Cain coming away with player of the tournament after staying switched on and making some fine saves when the team needed him to.

We are now gonna work hard in training and friendly games so we are ready to go for when the season starts 🧡🖤
