Birchfield Harriers 10K Trail Poppy Run

28/04/2021

Unfortunately there will not be a Poppy run this year.
But Birchfield Harriers are keen to stage the run again next year 2022.
Thank you for your support over the last few years and we hope to see you all soon.

Due to the current situation and with recent direction and recommendations from the British Government in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 10k Poppy Trail Run has unfortunately has been cancelled this year. We hope to be back in 2021.

In what has been a challenging time globally, we recognise that the postponement, due to the above-mentioned unforeseen events, may come as a disappointment but we did everything in our power to try and keep to the previously “hinted at” date. We were all hoping to put on another great event in 2020, sadly this will have to wait.

Please keep an eye out for future announcements.

Many thanks for you continued support.

At the moment we have a provisional date of Saturday 26th September. We’ll let you know when this date has been confirmed. Keep this date free in your diary.

Once again you guys have exceeded all our expectations and raised £700. Yesterday we had the privilege of presenting the cheque to Harry Fry from the Aldridge branch of The Royal British Legion. Thanks to everyone involved for helping us make the run such a great day and raising funds for a special organisation.
