Waltham Abbey fc under 10’s 93/94 season
Hello,
We are a french football club looking for foreign teams.
The Stade Olympique of Aimargues (between Montpellier and Marseille, and near Nîmes) is organizing an U10/U11 and an U12/U13 tournament.
Montpellier and Nîmes airport are around 20 minutes, Beziers 1h and Marseille 1h30mn. We take care for shuttles from airport to campsite or stadium.
We are looking for some european teams to participate in.
The tournament will take place on 2020 May 16 and 17.
The years before, Olympique de Marseille, OGC Nice, Toulouse FC, Montpellier Herault, Nîmes Olympique (and many others) had already participate in. Many european teams also (from Spain, Italia, Romania, Belgium, Swiss, Ukraine and England).
Accomodations and food are free for kids and coach (we take in charge).
We will enjoy to receive your team.
You can contact us for more information at [email protected] or visit our website soaimargues.com
Best regards

Thank you for giving us a good game at Hayes and Yeading yesterday. Please enjoy some of the photos from our official photographer. All the best for your remaining games.
Holly got hit by the ball yesterday before the match. She's broke her hand. The player that hit her was great and came over to say sorry. Can you please pass this on to him and thank him for his concern. Good luck with the rest of the season.
Never knew you guys had a page. Be good to follow how you progress.
Still playing in beechfield colours then
Just wanted to thank you for your 45+3 minuet goal. It helped me nail a mad treble.
Truly a gift for the year.
I hope you go and turn this game around!
There is a brilliant new APP on the App store aimed at team coaches and managers to not only connect with team members but to arrange training sessions, choose drills, keep ongoing records of players efforts on the field such as 3-2-1's, goals, saves and heaps more. There is also a useful tool for subbing players on and off for younger players to keep track of fair game time. There is also manager help for organising money collection, rosters such as bbq help and canteen duties etc. Please take the time to check it out and pass on to your members!

The FA announced the new league allocations for season 2021-22 a short while ago and Waltham Abbey have been moved over into the Southern League. In what appeared a somewhat drastic restructure we will visit at least 10 new clubs on our travels now next year!

Teams with yellow band (in the picture) have been moved from the Isthmian South Central. Colney Heath (Green) have been promoted from the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division.

Teams we are known to have met before are, Bedford Town, Berkhamsted, St Neots Town and Welwyn Garden City. (Apart from the teams from last season hence). It should be an interesting season with a few miles on the clock and new teams, places and faces to visit.

The club would like to wish Ron Ladbury a very happy 90th birthday. Still looking spritely, Ron was goalkeeper for many years at the club in the 40's. 50's and 60's. Here's a couple of pics of a very young Ron in goal circa 1947 for Abbey Sports. Happy Birthday Ron from all at Waltham Abbey FC!

Run the Month with Prostate Cancer UK

Hi Guys, of course we wish you all a Happy New Year and lets hope we can get back to Capershotts sooner rather than later. Stay Safe.

So on another note our Joint Manager Michael Spencer and all round nice guy is running for Prostate Cancer UK throughout January to raise a target of £1000 for the worthwhile Charity. He has already raised over £300 of his target and it would be great if the clubs supporters could smash the target and show our support.

Many thanks for taking a look and the time.
