The club is hosting two national slalom events over the next month at the Lee Valley White Water Centre. These are great opportunities to see some of the country’s best paddlers in action on the Olympic course - including our own club paddlers. Entry is free but remember to register or pay for parking. Many club members contribute to help run these events - big thanks to Ros Kettle, Paul Kettle, Jake Brown, Ciaran Edwards, Roman Kontchakov, Matty Dedman, Derek de Silva to name a few.
28 Feb - 1 March
Division 1 / Open Slalom
This is the first event of the 2026 season. It will attract a wide range of paddlers - some ‘paddling up’ from lower divisions, and some very experienced paddlers using it as a warm up race. Two races, one on each day.
28 - 29 March
National Team Selection / Premier Race 1
This is the first of two selection events for national teams. On Saturday we host a slalom event, on Sunday a spectacular Kayak Cross competition - including the start ramp. All the current Olympic team will be competing. The next selection race takes place in Nottingham on 11-12 April.
