Thanks to continued community funding, our FREE Walk & Talks and Stay & Plays are carrying on, now every TUESDAY still in Hertford! 🙌

And if you’re thinking “but I won’t know anyone…” that is exactly why we’re here. Come on your own. Come tired. Come late. Come with a baby who hasn’t slept. You’ll be welcomed. ❤️

A flat, buggy-friendly walk around Hartham.
📍 Meet at the back of Hartham Leisure Centre.

The highlight of the brunch! Besides obv the company, good food, great coffee, pop up shop and guest expert 😍 is the mini photo shoot with Lauren Lauren Somers, Hertfordshire Newborn and Children’s Photographer Tomorrow theme is Teddys bears picnic and quite a few bubbas are turning 1 🥰 so there will be props for them too!

⭐️Brunch Pop-Up Shop ⭐️
We have a new mum business!
Introducing Lucy: Designer and Maker (and everything else) at Ivy+Jones Crafts, and Toddler Mum!

Based in Bedfordshire, Lucy makes macramé decor for nurseries and children’s rooms such as teddy hammocks and wall decorations, plus other home decor such as wall hangings, disco ball decorations and plant hangers.

Everything is made with care and finished to a high standard, using natural materials where possible such as cotton cord in both bright and muted colour palettes, wood and bamboo elements and plastic free packaging.

Please do check out Macrame Home + Nursery Decor | Lucy (and from there, the Ivy+Jones website) - if anything in particular catches your eye, feel free to pop Lucy a DM so she can make sure she is well stocked to avoid disappointment.

This weeks brunch is sold out and so is October but pop yourself on the waitlist and if there are enough we will see if we can expand the brunch or potentially put on another one!

I may also be listening to audible so I can watch what’s going on but also enjoy my book, there are little glimmers of joy even at soft play. We just need to prepare our own ways to make the best of it :)
I find all soft plays massively over stimulating just from sitting without even going in there!
Tell me your ways to create our own bits of enjoyment even at softplay?
I must also mention the mum to me who brought her watercolours and was painting not much but she got some done! She made me feel like I need to up my game! Also admire the optimism to even have packed it to bring!

£6 an ice cream you say? £10 for a pre packed “local” crab sandwich? Sure No problem 😵‍💫make that 4 and 4 of those mac things oh and chuck in a few brollies too!

We have come away and it hasn’t rained for 9554 days yet today it rained like Noah’s ark was about to turn up 4 times I think 🤣 so yes I will be having a G&T with mr potato head 🤣
