Your 2026 Junior Quiz Winners!!

After a long 20 years, Stretton has finally lifted the trophy again after finishing on an incredible 184.75 points.

A huge well done to Laura and Isla on the speeches, and to the rest of the team Meg, Fin, Sophie, Ffion and Jessica in previous rounds. You have all worked so hard to get to tonight, and your hard work has paid off by being able to lift the trophy. As well as coming 1st our very own Meg walked away with quizzer of the night a huge achievement for our queen of random facts.

A very big well done must also go to Knutsford, giving us great competition and 2 awesome speeches, with a very young team you have a bright future ahead. Finally, a massive thank you must go to Great Budworth Ice Cream Farm for allowing us to host our meetings.

A big change is coming to the Stretton YFC Junior Quiz team as we say goodbye to long-standing members Isla, Laura and Meg, and new member Fin, who managed to win in his first year.

But for now, we can say we are the winners of Junior Quiz 2026 !!

A big well done to our team on Sunday morning for taking on the cricket even if we were one person down🏏☀️ A few questionable shots, even more questionable fielding, but a cracking morning all round 😂 Big thanks to the umpires and County for keeping us going with a BBQ afterwards! 🌭👏
