On 28.06.2026, we held our very first coached session, and what a day it was!

The beginning of Wimbledon...and a new beginning for Rixton Tennis Club!

It was brilliant to see so many players out on our court’s, learning new skills, building confidence, and simply enjoying the sport. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and for the fantastic team that made it possible.

This is hopefully just the beginning, and we can't wait to welcome even more players to future sessions as we continue to push our club in a better direction!

Here's to a successful day full of tennis at Rixton and the beginning of the greatest championships in the world...Wimbledon!! 🎾💪🏼

For just £5, you'll get 2 hours with experienced coaches who can help you improve your game or get you started if you're new to tennis.

A bit of honesty from us at Rixton….🎾

Did you know that there is a tennis club which could be less than a 5 minute drive from you?

Like many sports clubs were looking to increase our members but we’re finding that many local residents simply don’t know we’re here.
We appreciate that our courts are shale, which come with the occasional odd bounce compared to modern facilities however in our eyes it makes the game just that much better. Although we would love to improve things over time, it’s more important that we understand what the community actually wants from their club.

So tell us honestly:
👉 What would make you want to pop down?
👉 What would encourage you to join?
👉 What would make the club feel more welcoming or useful?

This club belongs to the locals that it serves, and we’d love to keep it around so it can continue to do so for many more years.

No idea is a bad idea. We’d really appreciate any suggestions, feedback, or even just sharing this post so more people become aware of the club.

🎾 It’s the weekend… just 2 days to go!
Looking for something fun, relaxed, and social this weekend? Our tennis club open day is this Sunday and everyone’s welcome.

We’re a small, friendly group who meet most Sundays for a knock about, a laugh, and a bit of fresh air. No pressure, just good people and plenty of tennis.

A lot of hard work has gone into preparing our shale courts. Hours of rolling, brushing, and careful maintenance to get them playing just right.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you onto courts that are ready to go.
