Fantastic weekend for the Team competing at The Grooming Show 2020. Georgia took 1st place in her Open Handstrip Terrier Class and Tom took home 2 trophies for his 2nd with Emma Darlington in the doubles then he achieved a 3rd in his Solo class.

Good luck to the Team this weekend, a whole lot of talent and skill in a great bunch of young groomers.

We have Tom, Kimi, Reilly & Georgia competing this weekend at The Grooming Show. If you see them give them your support 😁✂️

Georgia Gordon will be competing for the Groom Team in 2020 at a number of grooming shows, in between competing at Kennel Club Championship Shows with her Champion Miniature Schnauzer.

Georgia is a very experienced Level 3 qualified groomer and teacher, specialising in Handstripping. She took a break from Grooming Competitions to campaign her Miniature Schnauzer 'Margot' in 2019 culminating in gaining her 3rd CC (3x CC's and 1 RCC) making her a Kennel Club 'Champion' at Darlington Championship Show, which is a considerable achievement.

Georgia is also a keen Equestrian who has competed all over the UK in Dressage and Eventing with a Bachelor degree BSc. in Equestrian Science.

We are still considering a number of applicants for further Team places and these will be announced shortly.

Congratulations to Team member Tom Heaton Clarke on his 1st place in the Open Handstrip Class at the Grooming Show Summer Spin off yesterday.

Alex is busy improving her handstripping skills and working towards further professional qualifications again today, CPD is important in helping careers and developing competition skills which is why Sharpology by Post is sponsoring this additional training.

We currently have 2 spaces on the Sharpology by Post Groom Team for 2019/20. All nominations for these spaces will be reviewed by Nigel Waterworth as Owner/Sponsor, Alexandra Oppenheim as Team Captain and Pammie Carmichael-Hogg as Team Mentor/Manager.
Current grooming experience & previous competition results obviously have a bearing on the final decision, however other factors including professionalism, integrity, attitude, availability, willingness to compete and improve as well as the ability to represent the entire industry and conduct themselves as an ambassador representing the Team and Sponsor are equally as important.
