Yoga, baking and eating 🧘♀️ 🍞 🍕 … they’re my three favourite activities, so I’ve brought them together in a very special day retreat in Lymm.
The first date in August will be chair based with no need to get down on to the floor. Great for all those with knee pain! It’s still a wonderful practice.
August bake will be our award winning white loaf, and of course we’ll be eating together during class!
Everything is included in this lovely full day, so if you buy it as a gift for someone, you know they’ll be well looked after!

Hats off to Princess Catherine, for not only completing this gruelling challenge, but also raising awareness of a need to recognise that a more holistic approach to healthcare is needed.
I’ve learned so much about cancer care over the last few months under the expert tutelage of Jenni Stone and it’s really opened my eyes to how a cancer diagnosis and various treatments affect the person, their friends, family and the lasting impression it leaves.
Perhaps one day yoga will be prescribed to support a holistic approach to wellness; reducing stress, improving sleep and digestion, building strength and confidence in the body.
I really think that when delivered gently, and with a person focussed approach, yoga offers a wonderful space, away from it all, just you and the mat, whatever else is happening in your life.
I’ll shortly be qualified to offer yoga specifically for people living with cancer, their friends and relatives, as it’s not just the one person affected by this diagnosis, and the need for nervous system regulation and recovery lives on far beyond the bell ringing.

Can you do yoga without sun salutations? Absolutely. That’s what we’re doing tomorrow 🧘♀️.

Early morning walk with Ted today, no headphones just a really lovely hour to notice what was around me, and listen to the birds before the sun got too hot. The blackberries are coming on nicely! This was 8am in Woolston. Beautiful world. 🌎 🌷 🐦 🌲

Accepting myself in my whole form is something I’ve taken from my yoga study. I don’t need to be perfect. Just me. Ps.
