Soak up every minute, enjoy the atmosphere, look after each other and dare to dream… is it finally our year? 🏆

The Woolston Rovers Greens U13s are ready to bring the noise to Old Trafford and cheer the Wire on!

🏉 GAME RESULT 🏉

Woolston Rovers Greens 32 – 12 Halton Farnworth Reds

The boys showed up in force today! 💚💛

They were up for the challenge and completely locked in from the minute they started training this morning. They knew what they had come to do, they knew what they wanted, and they went out there and delivered! 🔥

💪 DEFENCE
The defensive work today was phenomenal. The boys worked together as a team and made sure Halton had a difficult time getting over the line. The line speed, aggression and commitment from every single player was top drawer! 👏

⚡ ATTACK
On attack, the boys knew exactly what they needed to do. They worked together, backed each other up and made use of every player — and it showed, as we crossed the line time and time again! 🏉🔥

The lads should be so proud of how far they have come. We have never beaten Halton before, and today they went out there and made it look like light work! 💪💚

Another huge step forward for this group. Keep believing, keep working and keep pushing each other! 👊

We are SO close to the Warrington Cup Final now, and if these lads keep bringing it the way they have been, we are in for a RIGHT TREAT! 🏆🔥

IT’S YOURS IF YOU WANT IT, BOYS! 🏆💚

💚💛 UP THE ROVERS! 💛💚

🏉💚💛 WHAT A FIGHT FROM THE LADS! 💛💚🏉

Woolston Rovers Greens 12 – 16 Langworthy Reds

What a game today! 🔥

The lads went into half-time 6–0 up, and that scoreline was a true reflection of the incredible defensive effort in that first half. 💪

They worked as a team, battled for each other and made sure Langworthy couldn’t get over that line. The defence was absolutely outstanding! 💚

With only one substitute available today, it was always going to be a huge ask. Our big lads played the full 40 minutes, took on the challenge head-on and their work rate was phenomenal. 👏🔥

Langworthy came back in the second half and got a try, but the Rovers boys fought straight back. Another try plus the conversion put Woolston ahead 12–10, and with the game going right down to the wire, Langworthy managed to get over for another try in the final minutes to take the win 12–16.

But today wasn’t about the result.

It was about 40 minutes of two teams battling, fighting and giving absolutely everything. ⚔️🏉

And for us, it was amazing to watch these lads work together, trust each other and play the rugby they have trained so hard for. There were some huge efforts out there today, and every single one of them should be proud of what they put into that game. 💚💛

We learn. We grow. We go again. 💪

The final is getting closer… 🏆
And these boys are showing exactly what they’re made of.

UP THE ROVERS! 💚💛🏉🔥

FULL TIME 🏉

Woolston Rovers Greens 14 – 24 Leigh East

Woolston went into the second half in the lead after playing some absolutely outstanding rugby. Unfortunately, Leigh East came back fighting in the second half and managed to take the win.

Whilst a defeat is never something we want, the last time we played Leigh East in a league game, they beat us 54-0. Today’s scoreline shows just how far these lads have come, the commitment they have put into training and how much they have grown and developed as a team.

There is so much to be proud of. The rugby these lads played today was outstanding, and although we didn’t get the result we wanted, they should all be proud of themselves and how far they have come. 💪🏻

We dust ourselves off, we go again, and we keep moving forward. We keep pushing, keep working and keep believing in each other.

Proud of every single one of you! 💚💛

UP THE ROVERS 💚💛

🏉💛💚 WHAT A DAY FOR THE ROVERS! 💚💛🏉

Today we travelled over to Wigan St Pats for a festival, and despite the awful weather 🌧️ and some of our lads picking up injuries along the way, they dug deep and finished 2nd! 🥈👏

The lads showed grit, determination and unbelievable team spirit, continuing to battle on even when they were carrying knocks. They never gave up, they worked for each other and they gave absolutely everything they had.

The rugby on show from our lads today was outstanding. The way they played together, supported each other and fought right until the end made us incredibly proud. 💪🏉

A massive thank you to our amazing coaches for everything you do for these boys, and to all the volunteers and parents who give up their time, stand on the sidelines and support the team in all weathers. You are all a huge part of this team. ❤️

And now… NEXT STOP: THE SEMI-FINAL! 🔥

Wednesday we face Rylands… and we’re coming for you! 😏💪

💛💚 UP THE ROVERS! 💚💛
