EAGLE RUGBY OPEN DAY

Got an energetic and sporty child? Or a child that may need easing into some social interactions? Then we're here to deliver exactly that for you.

Eagle rugby union are holding an open training session for all kids aged 4-12 for some skilled based sessions and social interactions and we promise they'll come off the pitch smiling and wanting more.

August 9th, 10:30am - 1pm the session will be taking place on eagle sports fields in penketh. So please if you think your child would be someone who would enjoy it then bring them down and send them home talking about their day.

Parents who stay will be given a free drink and there will be drinks and refreshments available for all participating children.

We've not seen a collaboration this good since Dawson/Wilkinson in 2003 😉

The lads celebrated in style at the RFU dinner the other week.. Now it's your turn to celebrate the achievements with the lads.

Dancing on tables 🪑, costumes and copious amounts of Drinking 🍻🥂🍾 is advised and applauded👏, Drink enough and you'll see 6ft 4 ripped shirtless Men dressed as Thor 🔨 stay sober and you'll see 25 washed up vagabonds trying to squeeze into a 3 sizes too small lycra BatMan 🦇costume. 👀❤️

Now that the dust has settled on a superb season from the lads we are holding our yearly AGM on Wednesday 15th May in the clubs Sankey suite.

BACK TO BACK CHAMPS

Result: Crewe 1s/2s 43 Eagle 38

In what was a celebratory game for the tricksters Crewe and nantwich decided to field a much stronger team but this only fired the gulls up. Although we lost we proved why we have been crowned champions the last 2 years with some pretty brutal defence on show along with some slick tries scored meant that the boys ran the Crewe and Nantwich ringers close but eventually fell to defeat.

On a brighter note… BACK TO BACK!

WE ARE CHAMPIONS

Another outstanding season from the lads once again proving that we’re potentially the best pub team in the country, with only 3 leagues defeats in 2 seasons is a fantastic achievement and something the eagle trickster will look to continue in the league above 👀

The final day of the season has arrived following a week of celebrations for the Eagle Globetrotters.

And what better way than to finish against Crewe & Nantwich RUFC 1st/2nd team 👀

Shenanigans aplenty today for the boys and a great challenge moving forward.

The back to back champions will be heading back to Thornton road following the game for more cork popping action 🍾

This result means that all eagle have to do next week is show up and we are confirmed league winners.
