Hope you are all well.
Good news at last!!
As you may have heard we are now able to reopen from 25th July. So as of Monday the 27th July we will be open.
Please feel free to contact me for appointments.
Please note that appointments will be strictly limited to one person at a time or two if from the same household.
All times will need to be adhered to as closely as possible. A 15 minute gap at the end of each session has been implemented to enable cleaning to take place. All equipment, door handles, mats and surfaces will be sanitised. Two hand sanitiser stations have been put in place along with paper towels in the toilet for hand drying instead of a towel. I will also be wearing a face mask.
If possible please arrive ready for exercise. Our changing room will be open to get changed but unfortunately the shower will not be in use until further notice. Please provide your own water/drinks bottle that can be taken home after your session.

🚨CORONA VIRUS COVID-19 IMPORTANT INFORMATION🚨

It's with great regret and a heavy heart that Gym and Tonic will close its doors effective immediately.

With the new guidelines that were announced on Friday and further information that has come through regarding the spread of the virus our only option to safeguard you and ourselves is to close our doors.

We hope that this measure is only for the very short term and that by everyone following government guidelines regarding self isolation and social distancing we will be back to normality as soon as possible.

Please understand we have taken this step after very careful consideration. With new information immerging daily about people being asymptomatic (carrying COVID-19 without actually having symptoms) we believe this is the only option open to us right now. We have a duty of care to protect you and your families as well as our ourselves and our family.

We are exploring the possibility of conducting one on one distanced outdoor sessions. And we will keep you updated on that. However we have to adhere to what the government advises and as that is changing daily, time will tell if this is a viable option.

May we take this opportunity to thank you all for your kindness, understanding and support in these unprecedented times. We will keep you updated on any changes and look forward to welcoming you all back soon.

INFORMATION REGARDING CORONA VIRUS COVID-19

We want to reassure all our clients here at Gym and Tonic that we are doing everything possible to ensure our gym stays open and functioning. We are cleaning all equipment before and after every client. Our bathroom, kitchen and shower room is sanitised regularly throughout the day. And we are using antibacterial spray on door handles and weights/machines/treadmills etc.
In turn we ask you for your cooperation in this current health climate.

🛑 If you are feeling unwell, have been in close contact with someone who has recently travelled or are displaying any of the symptoms of COVID-19, PLEASE DO NOT COME INTO THE GYM.
These symptoms include
Dry cough
Sore throat
Fever

🛑 We respectfully ask you to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds on entering the gym.

🛑 As with NHS guidelines coughs and sneezes should be directed into a tissue ( or into the crook of your elbow) and binned immediately followed by washing your hands thoroughly.

We appreciate that this is a worrying time for all but by following these simple steps we aim to keep you fighting fit!!
