P.S.C is a Voluntary Swimming Club, operating term time from 19.00 every Wednesday and Thursday evening Fees are collected in full prior to the start of term.

Our aim is to provide the best quality swimming experience which is both professional and value for money. We are run completely by volunteers and wok with Swim England, the S.T.A (Swimming Teachers Association) and the RLSS (Royal Life Savers Society) when awarding the junior members for both Distance and skills awards. Here’s wishing you all a very happy Easter weekend. We are closed now for two weeks and return on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd April.
During our break we will be responding to the inbox enquiries and those who’ve completed a new starter enquiry. Thankyou for your patience while we work through getting new swimmers signed up. While we are closed and the children are off school why not bring them to the pool for a swim or family fun session. The timetable has been extended for the Easter period. There’s no need to book simply turn up and pay with card or contactless - remember to take your receipt on to the poolside for proof of payment. 🐰 🌷 🐣 💦 🏊‍♂️

Swimming club is closed over the Christmas and new year holidays- however the pool is open and has lots of family fun sessions for you to come along with your family group and have some fun off the iPads and smart devices! Visit penkethpool.com for more timetable information. There’s no need to book simply turn up and pay via card or contactless, then take your receipt through to the poolside to hand to a lifeguard for proof of purchase. Lockers take a £1 coin deposit which is returnable.

We reopen bright and early in the morning for a 7am lane swim. With two family fun slots ready to welcome you at 9 and 11:30am.

We’re asking for generous parents to donate raffle prizes for our fundraising stall. Anything is appreciated such as; Unopened bath and body sets, gift sets, boxed biscuits, chocolates and vouchers or WINE! 🍷 🍷 🍷
We’ve invested a lot of our reserves in training 6 new qualifications for our volunteer coaches to be great at what they do. Helping us raise funds at the Christmas event will also help us keep costs low.

Make a note in your diary and come to visit the market on Saturday 29th and come to the tree light switch on from 5pm on honiton way. It would be lovely to see you all there.

Donations can be handed in at the pool when your child next swims.

We are still looking for stalls and can cater for a small number of outdoor stalls too.

With raffles, a free gift for every child visiting Father Christmas in the grotto and choir from penketh highschool singing traditional Christmas carols and some modern festive hits we invite you to come along for more giveaways and a traditional family bit of nostalgia at 5pm. The Parish nativity scene will also be illuminated at the same time and is a great opportunity to have that annual photo to mark “another year older” picture of your children.

The community cafe will be open from 12noon selling teas, coffees, fancy hot chocolate AND hot mulled wine, cold beers, wines and ciders.

Just as last year the swimming cPenketh Pool and Community CentredPenketh Swimming Club Est 1974wPenketh Parish Councilng fees of our volunteers. This past year we’ve managed to train five people on a level one and three people on a level two qualification meaning we maintain our highest standards of lesson content and giving young people a professional qualification for life.

You can bring your raffle donations in during the next two weeks (when your children come to swim) and leave in the box at the pool - every donation is greatly appreciated and will help towards running costs for the club.

Penketh swimming club are off next week for half term. However as the pool has lots of family fun sessions scheduled- without the need to book simply turn- why not pay a visit and let your swimmers show what they’ve been learning. The extra practice always helps too! 💦 see you all from Wednesday 5th November when we return.
