What a great midweek friendly for the greens this week. Great all round performance from all the lads playing some brilliant football. Was really good to see some of the things we have been working on in training taken into the game. Any of the lads could have got an award but managers player was Oscars his work rate, passing and finishing was fantastic. Parents player was Ron, didnt stop pressing, tried hard with his passing and some great finishes. Well done Greens 💚

We finished up our Summer league with a tournament day Saturday for the SL5.
The lads unfortunately bowed out on penalties in the semi final but went all tournament day unbeaten. Showed some amazing team spirit and had each other's backs all day.

Parents Player goes to Dominik who was awesome between the sticks. Double saves, pouncing on lose balls, talking to his team .Well done fella.

Coaches Player went to Grayson who was solid at the back, big tackles, swept well and was making purposeful passes out to teammates.

The lads had a great 24hours playing friday evening and Saturday morning with their preseason commitments.

We had a very close hard fought battle on friday. Took their time getting into the game but found their footing eventually an made it a back and too game.
Then came along Saturday morning, full of energy and determination all over the pitch. Some fantastic football, goals and tackles. The opposition coach came over before final whistle to say how quick and strong the lads were at cutting out his teams attack. Well done boys!

Fridays Parents Player and Coaches went to new boy Ron.
Saturdays Parents went to Sax who was brill all over the pitch an even got himself a goal. Coaches went again to Ron who finished off his week the way he started it, hes fitting into the team seamlessly. Keep it up lads.
