The Emerging Talent Centre is absolutely flying at the moment!

It’s fantastic to see so many young players taking advantage of our high-intensity sessions. There’s a huge amount of preparation work going on throughout pre-season as we get ready to support players on their journey into academy football at the appropriate age groups.

We’re also excited to be launching something new in September, designed to help bridge the gap between grassroots football and academies, creating even more opportunities and clearer pathways for aspiring players. Keep an eye out for more details coming soon!

What can I say… wow 😮 Division 1 Champions The lads have been absolutely amazing this season. The growth and development in every single child has been incredible to watch. If you cast your mind back to the start of the season, if we went a couple of goals down, our heads would drop. But not today. The character of these lads is unbelievable. To be 2-0 down and then go in at halftime 3-2 up says it all. I thought every lad today stood up and made a massive statement. The work rate was phenomenal. The heat was stifling, but it didn’t matter. Every single one of them showed belief, desire, and determination to win their battles and get the game won 🥇 To win the game 6-2 is just wow. Some of the link-up play was on another level, and some of the goals were simply out of this world. I’m so proud of every single one of them — they fully deserve it. Onto the Man of the Match… Truthfully, I couldn’t pick one. I thought every player played a massive part in getting us the victory we deserved, so I passed it over to the opposition manager, Coach Matty. He picked three and couldn’t split them: 🏅 Jack Your best game so far. On the ball you were excellent, with really good distribution — something we’ve worked on all season. Great communication with lads in defence, and some of the saves… wow. 🏅 Austin We had to switch you up 10 minutes into the game and put you into a holding midfield/defensive role to stop them playing through the middle. You gave your heart and soul to the game. Your work rate was off the charts, and you got a well-deserved goal. 🏅 Jesse Your pressing today was unreal. You made them work so hard to get the ball out from the back. You hunted errors, linked up brilliantly, talked throughout, and scored a superb goal. I could go on and on — it was brilliant to watch. But again, I just want to say every lad on that pitch was amazing today from start to finish. Well done all 👏 Coach Pete
