Coaching full time has its highs/lows but having 4 of my heavyweights on separate occasions called in for their thinking style to help the Fury's in fight camp is a highlight.

All doing brilliant, as a coach I'm always looking to learn and improve to be the best i can for everyone.

Bag work can be amazing for improving your conditioning and technique, but if done wrong it can also hinder you.

This is why you need to theme every boxing round you do.

NEVER just hit the bag aimlessly as a lot of bad habits can grow.

Treat the bag with the same respect as you would with your opponent and remember the bag doesn't hit back so you have to focus your attention on defensive manoeuvres

Keep the rear hand locked in position (no movements)

Slight step to the side with the lead foot. This will open your body up and give you balance to transfer weight from the back to the front.

Bowl the rear hook over in a looping manner. And twist your hips and bring your weight down.

Take the head off centre line (one of the most important things to avoid getting countered.
