⚽️ WARTON FC U10s — THE SEASON IS UNDERWAY!⚽️

The season has finally kicked off, and what a start it’s been for the Warton FC U10s! 🔵⚽️

Over the last two weekends, the lads have played two fantastic games against Clifton Rangers and Clifton Wasps— and both were brilliant, end-to-end matches with plenty of effort, energy and great football on show.

🔥 Warton U10s vs Clifton Rangers — Last Weekend

The boys got the season underway against Clifton Rangers in a fantastic opening game. From the first whistle, it was an exciting end-to-end battle, with both teams working hard and creating plenty of chances.

Warton showed some great attacking play and determination throughout, with Red, Adam and Heath all finding the back of the net. ⚽️👏

There was plenty to be pleased about, with the boys showing great teamwork, battling for every ball and never giving up.

A brilliant way to get the season started — plenty of positives to take forward and, most importantly, the boys were clearly loving being back out on the pitch!

🔥 Warton U10s vs Clifton Wasps — Today

If the first game was a great start, this one was another absolute cracker! The boys went toe-to-toe with Clifton Wasps in another fantastic end-to-end game.

There was plenty of attacking football, great battles all over the pitch and some brilliant moments from Warton. The boys kept pushing right until the end and were rewarded with goals from Red x2, Heath, Henry K and Josh. ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

It was fantastic to see the whole team working together, supporting each other and showing such a positive attitude throughout the game.

Another awesome performance from the lads and another game that showed just how much potential this team has.

💪 Two games. Two brilliant performances. A fantastic start to the season!

Most importantly, the boys are enjoying their football, working hard for each other and showing some great team spirit already. There’s plenty more to come from this group, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings! 🔵⚽️

👏 A massive thank you to all the parents for their fantastic support, as always. The encouragement from the sidelines makes such a difference, and it’s brilliant to see everyone getting behind the team.

Everyone at Warton FC passes our love and prayers to everyone at KJFC and Andy’s family at this sad time. 💙💛

All at the Blackpool & District Youth Football League are deeply saddened to hear the news that Andy Lawrenson, the Secretary of Kirkham Juniors and manager to the Reds sadly passed away.

Andy was the Kirkham Juniors Secretary and coached for over 15 years bringing his team through from U6’s. He was a dedicated coach, full of enthusiasm and a true example of what a grassroots coach should be. He devoted much of his time, effort and commitment to Kirkham Juniors over the years and will be truly missed by everyone that knew him.

Our thoughts, condolences and love go out to all of Andy's family, friends and all at Kirkham Juniors.

As a League we ask that Andy be remembered with a minutes applause before all the games this weekend.

Just over a month to go until our annual Lisa Woods Tournament in aid of Rosemere Cancer Foundation

This day is about so much more than football. It's about remembering an incredible mother and grandmother. Celebrating the legacy she left behind. That legacy continues to bring people together year after year through this tournament.

This year, 12 adult teams will battle it out for the trophy, while 6 junior teams will take to the pitch in our junior tournament, showcasing the next generation of local talent.

The last two years have been an incredible success, bringing our community together through the beautiful game while raising money for a fantastic cause. This year promises to be even bigger, even better, and something truly special.

We can't wait to see you all there. 💛♥️

This will be a very well attended day of football, music and fun in memory of Paul and raising money for local charities chosen by Paul's family.

A couple of weeks ago we spoke about how disappointed we were with the lack of women’s football in the area… well, that’s about to change. 😍

We’re launching a women only football session at Bridges Playing Field, Warton. Thursday 8:30pm–9:30pm

Normally sessions are £4.50, but because we’re buzzing to get this going, this first session is completely FREE.

Looking for a new hobby? Or thinking about getting back into football?

We're exploring the idea of launching a female only, inclusive football midweek session right here in Fylde!

We're currently in discussions with a local venue, so it's still early days, but we're excited about the possibility!

At the moment, there aren't many opportunities in Fylde for women who want to play football in a casual, noncompetitive, and welcoming environment. We think that's something that needs to change!

Whether you're a complete beginner, haven't played in years, or just fancy giving it a go, this could be for you. 💛
