Conditioning with Miss Cat is one of our busiest classes… and we’d probably describe it as type 2 fun. 😂💪

Harrrrd work while you’re doing it, but you feel super good afterwards!

Conditioning helps our dancers and gymnasts build the strength, control and stamina they need for their skills, while helping their bodies cope with the demands of training. Strong bodies mean happier, healthier dancers who can keep doing what they love for longer!

Nothing beats an old classic!

A little throwback to Beyond the Screen and our dancers taking on Trip a Little Light Fantastic from Mary Poppins Returns. ☂️

A brilliant number packed with character, energy and plenty of fancy footwork, definitely one that had us wanting to join in from the wings!

Safe stretching and strengthening is such an important part of dance training, whatever your age!

It’s not all about how far you can stretch or how high you can get your leg. Building strength alongside flexibility helps dancers develop control, stability and good technique too.

We teach our dancers safe ways to stretch and strengthen, helping them understand their bodies and build healthy habits that will support their dancing for years to come.

Strong + flexible + safe = happy dancers! 💪🩰

This is a welcoming space to explore movement, musicality and self-expression—without pressure or judgement.

Whether you’ve danced before or you’re a complete beginner, you’ll be encouraged to move in a way that feels good for you.

Our lovely Annie (or Miss Annie as she is also known) has been training with us at WSD since she was 5 years old and now she is in year 13 training here and BOA.

We can’t wait to support her as she begins her audition year to see where she goes next on her journey!
