We are buzzing to announce Washington Boxing Club are bringing the action to Alexandra Steakhouse, Grangetown, Sunderland on Saturday 24th October.
Expect a fantastic afternoon of boxing, great fights and a brilliant family atmosphere as our fighters step through the ropes.

Everyone at Washington Boxing Club would like to congratulate our very own Luke Foster on getting his first professional bout over the line with an impressive unanimous decision victory.

Working full-time, being a dad and still finding the time and dedication to chase his goals makes this victory even more special. Luke is a fantastic role model to all the younger boxers coming through at WBC, showing that with commitment and the right attitude, you can still achieve your ambitions.

Everyone at Washington Boxing Club would like to wish our club pro Luke Foster the very best of luck as he makes his professional debut down in Preston.

Luke is a fantastic role model for the younger boxers coming through at WBC, showing exactly the dedication, commitment and hard work needed to chase your goals and make them a reality.

With a busy life balancing work and being a dad, Luke still finds the time to put the hours in, keep pushing himself and strive towards the goal he has set himself. That dedication is something the whole gym can be proud of.

Tonight is another big step in that journey, and we know Luke will give it everything he has.

A massive thank you to everyone who has bought a ticket and is making the trip down to Preston to support Luke. Your support means a lot to Luke and everyone at WBC.

Another busy night in the gym last night with sparring and medicals taking place.

A massive thank you to Ormesby Boxing Club and Brandon Boxing Club for coming down and getting some quality rounds in with the squad.

Also a big thank you to Dr Anatoli for coming in and carrying out some much-needed medicals. With everyone now in date, we can get fully dialled in and focused as we build towards our upcoming Washington Boxing Club Home Show on Friday 24th October.

Another great session for club pro Luke Foster as he continues his preparations for his professional debut in Preston on Saturday 12th September.
Big thanks to Calum and Brandon Boxing Club for having us over and providing some quality rounds. Exactly what Luke needs at this stage of his preparation, putting in the work and getting those valuable rounds under his belt.
The hard work continues. 12th September, here we come.

Massive thanks to Davie from District Youth for bringing Leo, Billy and Harry over tonight for some quality rounds of sparring.
First up we had Charlie in with Harry, with both lads putting in a great shift and testing each other from the first bell right through to the last. Great work from both boys.
Next was Rory in with Billy, and again, both lads went at it from start to finish. Some really good, competitive rounds and class to watch.
Then we had Luke in with Leo. Luke is getting ready for his professional debut, so getting these quality rounds in is exactly what he needs. It was a sparring session that most of the gym hung around to watch and it certainly didn't disappoint.
Some good, solid, tough rounds for everyone involved and I'm sure everyone will take something away from.
Class lads, cheers for coming round.
Good luck for the new season and hopefully we'll see you all again soon.

Massive thanks to Ormesby Boxing Club for having us down tonight for some quality sparring. Absolutely class rounds for Rebecca and Rory, both getting some really valuable, competitive work in. Plenty learned by everyone involved and exactly the type of quality rounds we need as we continue preparing for the season ahead. Great work from everyone tonight, everyone will have taken something from it and gained valuable experience.

With our female squad growing from strength to strength, we’re delighted to announce that Madaline Arnott has been made Washington Boxing Club Female Club Captain.
Maddie’s accomplishments speak for themselves:

🇪🇺 European Champion
🏆 Multiple Box Cup Champion

But it’s not just what Maddie has achieved inside the ring that makes her the perfect choice. She is a fantastic role model in the gym, always setting the standard with her hard work, dedication and commitment to Washington Boxing Club.
Everything Maddie has achieved is a product of the countless hours she has put in and her determination to keep improving.
We’re incredibly proud of Maddie, and we know she will be a brilliant captain and an inspiration to our growing female squad.
