Every check-in there were no excuses, and if he failed, he learned, and moved on quickly. He’s consistently at the top of our group challenges, and shows some of the biggest support within my team. Because of this, he was able to achieve - arguably - some of my best results to date. He didn’t just lose over 2 stone. He didn’t just double in strength. He became so much happier, and confident throughout this journey. The look in someone’s eyes tells more of a story than the look of someones abs. You smashed it Mark, and you’ve been a pleasure to work alongside; then, and now. This isn’t the end. This is the start of Mark 2.0 🔥👀

EVENT 12 RESULTS ARE LIVE!
This event was requested by Naomi Fell. She wanted something that could work for her with her leg laced in a protective sock.
I bring you - Satans Socko. 666 brutal reps within 45 mins.
This event brings a change to the overall top 10. We have Ursula Salero climbing her way to the top end of the leaderboard, passing Graham and Dave Foster 👏🏼 Naomi Fell sees off Rochelle McEwan to steal 10th position. Jodie Riley also climbed a position with a great result here.
Overall, I think this has been one of my favourite challenges to date, with some epic effort and repeat attempts. Well done all! 👏🏼🔥

During March, I tasked my amazing academy members to burn a total of 300,000 calories through exercises of their choice. The caveat was that the girls had to achieve an avg HR of 115 or above, while the men had to avg 125 or above, before any cals were counted.
WE SMASHED THAT TARGET! 🚀
A colossal 362,000~ were burned, with over 39 members contributing! 👏🏼
These challenges are great for the extra push on the tired days. Moreover, we always see results come more efficiently. Gamification promotors healthy competition, and makes exercising that little bit more enjoyable/competitive.
Very proud of everyone that took part! Let’s make it a full house this month guys 💪🏼🔥

Event 9 was TASTY! Most people stop after one of these lovely pendulums, but not us 🙅🏼♂️ 2 spicy pendulums from 13-1 and 1-13, with some salivating exercises. Turn out was excellent on this event, and it turned out to be one of the most difficult this far, with over 10 competitions unable to finish within the time cap.
The leaderboard also saw another huge shake up with failing to find the top 3! 😱
Newbies and have absolutely exceptional performances in this event to sn**ch points away from the reigning champ. .foster was his usual brilliant self here, but still couldn’t find his way past . Mammoth efforts from everyone here!
You really are becoming so, so strong in these events. Never downplay your ability. These events are not for your average gym goer. We’re doing something special here. Keep making me proud 👏🏼🔥

Event 7 was a toughie! As it was Christmas time, we made it Christmas themed. I switched the gifts out from the 12 days of Christmas so that they were more rewarding. More sentimental. More tasty on the pallet…
The results of this Event, meant that the reigning champ, Harriet Leaver extended her lead once again. The midfield battle became very close indeed with Ursy baby and big Dave Foster both improving their positions within the table.
Some unbelievable effort from everyone that took part. Every time I’ve run this type of challenge in the past, not a single person has managed the entire event within 45mins. It’s NASTY!

MONTHLY MEFIT PRIZES
(I’ve just pulled this straight off my stories to direct my members, and prevent me answering the same question umpteen times 😅)
The monthly prize within MeFit Academy will now look like this:
Each month, we’ll be tasked, as a collective, with hitting a group monthly calorie target.
Burned 🔥 not consumed… 😅
Should this calorie target be met, then the top 5 highest members will be entered into an all singing, all dancing, spin wheel prize draw (cheap AF iPad edition).
The lucky winner will have their score divided by 1000, and multiplied by 3.
On average, and historically, the top monthly cals have been around 20,000. This means a potential of £60 off your coaching or personal training, premium service.
The more you do, the better the prize.

from last week. This is not to be replicated by
beginners, Ed Skinners, or roast dinners.
In seriousness, anything that requires you to shift your body weight or more of the floor, hinge at at hip, and/or put your spine under significant load, should be practiced, and iterated upon from a foundation standard.
If you need help understanding this, or guidance on how to, then consult one of the personal trainers around the gym, before diving in head first like Bill big nutz.
Setting a good foundation with your posture will create far less friction on route to your goal, and
help avoid any serious injury.
