Today there was a goodbye ๐
One of my yoga students is moving on to a new chapter, and while itโs bittersweet, my heart is full. It has truly been a blessing to teach and witness their growthโnot just in practice, but in spirit.
Moments like these remind me that yoga is so much more than poses. Itโs connection, union, and shared journeys. Iโm honored to have been a small part of theirs and will be forever grateful for your beautiful energy you brought to this space.

Hey ๐ Iโm Amanda
Iโm a yoga teacher based in Cowplain. I first discovered yoga back in 2000, and after years of practice and curiosity, Iโm now in my 6th year of teaching and sharing what I love.
Originally, yoga drew me in for the physical benefitsโbuilding a healthier, stronger body. But over time, the deeper mental and emotional benefits really began to unfold.
One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching my students grow and transform in so many different ways. Itโs what keeps me inspired to keep learning and evolving.
I teach small, friendly classes from my studio in Cowplain. In each session, we explore postures, breathing techniques, guided meditation, and finish with relaxation.

So why do we feel so blinking good after we practice Yoga? ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ
Well it could be a number of factors.. Including relaxing blood vessels, reducing heart rate, while increasing blood flow to our organs. โฅ๏ธ
Using postures, breath and gravity, as tools, we have our circulatory system to thank for giving us a good wash inside. It allows optimal blood flow to specific organs and muscles replacing waste with nutrient rich blood. ๐ซ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ

My Chair Yoga classes at the beginning of the week invites you to find mobility in a way that is gentle and offers support from a chair. It's a fantastic way to practice yoga without the need to get on the floor. During the hour we warm up all through the body, adapt poses to use whilst on the chair and finish the class with some breathing practices, guided meditation and relaxation.

I love to see my students progress in their practice, but to receive a message like this and for the student to physically feel the difference a regular weekly practice makes has made my day. The physical slow practice of yoga can reduce pain by building strength and gentle stretching muscles to relieve pain.
