A performance we can be proud of today.
Finding ourselves 5-0 up, maybe we could have managed the game better but a solid whole squad performance with every change implementing the plan and matching the energy.

Managers player was a really difficult pick with a lot of good performances this week. But I’m really happy to announce that we have given it to Ellie Brent. Really great game, 4 assists are impossible to ignore. 👏🏽

Players player I’m really really excited to share was awarded to Sarah Buchanan, set the standard today. Dominant display 👏🏽

A very slow start from the girls saw us 5–0 down within the first 15 minutes 😬. With Clanfield’s tails well and truly up, it became super difficult to get ourselves back into the game. Credit to Clanfield, they took their chances well and deserved their result. We look forward to the rematch later in the season 🔁.

Manager’s Player: Hannah — her first competitive match and she absolutely worked her socks off 🧦💪. She made a real impact and should be proud of her performance.

Players’ Player: Georgia — a debut full of authority, communication and hard graft 👏🔥. A brilliant first outing.

Another really positive afternoon for the Cows as we continued our pre-season preparations against higher-division opposition, Andover New Street Vixens. 💚🐄⚽️

We adapted our focus slightly and were really pleased with what we saw. The girls shifted across the pitch brilliantly, performed their positional duties well and played some genuinely good football. It was fantastic to see things we’ve been working on in training starting to come together! 👏🏽

Another really positive afternoon for the Cows as we continued our pre-season preparations with a home friendly against AFC Varsity. 💚

Despite challenging conditions, we had the opportunity to put more of our training into practice, working on some new patterns and plays while continuing to develop our shape and understanding on the pitch. It was also another valuable chance to see our new players settling into the squad and building those relationships.

A massive thank you to Brothers, Millie and Hannah for stepping in and helping our opposition keep the game going. It gave everyone the opportunity to play 11-a-side, maintain our shape and get some really valuable minutes under our belts. It’s hugely appreciated. 👏🏽

Two goals and a constant threat down the right wing. Kirbie was instrumental in unlocking the defence, creating problems throughout and delivering another dominant performance.

An unbelievable attitude, work ethic and mindset throughout. Bex was brilliant both defensively and going forward — breaking up play, winning the ball, putting herself about and showing real composure with some excellent passes.

A great afternoon for the girls today as we kicked off our pre-season with our first friendly.

Today was the first time many of this squad had played together, and it was fantastic to finally put into practice what we’ve been working on during training. It also gave us the chance to see some of our new signings in action… and let’s just say, there’s plenty to be excited about. 🤫

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with what I saw. Despite the heat, a tough grass pitch, and implementing a new formation for the first time, every single player worked tirelessly for each other. The effort, attitude and willingness to learn were there from the first whistle to the last, and that’s exactly what we’re looking to build on this season.

Manager’s Player of the Match goes to the brilliant Emma. 💚

Brave, energetic and composed throughout, Emma stepped into what was originally her second position… although after today’s performance, it might just be her first! She carried out everything we asked of her in the CDM role and more. Defensively solid when we needed her, won the ball consistently, and always looked to play forward. An outstanding debut—well deserved!

Players’ Player of the Match goes to Millie. 👏

A dominant performance at right centre-back. Aggressive, hard-working and confident in everything she was asked to do. To top it all off, she scored an absolute rocket from the halfway line! What a way to mark your debut—massive congratulations!

A huge thank you to Pavilion Panthers for hosting us today. We wish you all the very best for the season ahead. 💚

Now we go again next week as we take on AFC Varsity Reserves. We can’t wait!
