Things overheard at training:

“Last one, yeah?”
“Whose ball is that?”
“I definitely meant that pass.”
“Keeper’s, surely?”
“Anyone else forget how to breathe during shuttles?”

Somehow, it’s always worth it.

Open sessions are running every Wednesday in June, 7:30–9pm.

Introducing our NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM!

Jess and Amy are our new management team for 2026/27!

Coach Claire:
"My time has been more stretched than usual as we enter a new season, and I haven't been able to dedicate as much of myself to the team as I would like. Which isn't a fair position to be in as its day-to-day Manager."

"I'm not disappearing, but I will be taking a back-seat role to support Jess and Amy as they take the reins. As those who know me will know, I have many coaching roles including new Grassroots Coach Developer with Hampshire FA which is means the three coaching positions I currently have, is too many unfortunately."

"It’s very much business as usual with the team and the club. In Jess and Amy’s hands it couldn’t be in a better place. Both ladies really stepped-up last season and even more so in the last few weeks. Their support of me and the team is unwavering, the team couldn't be safer hands!"

"I may have started the ladies team here 4 years ago, but it's never been about me. For the team to be in the position where it doesn't rely on me, is huge credit to the ladies and the club, particularly Cowplain Club secretary Sarah who deserves nothing short of a medal for all the work she does! This team will prosper and have future security with two extremely dedicated ladies in Jess and Amy looking after it."

"I'd just like to thank everyone who has helped me and supported the team along the way, too many to name in a social post but I hope you will all know who you are! Your continued support is invaluable."

The team is looking to recruit an assistant coach to help Jess and Amy. If you would like to join this wonderful group, get in touch!

Every grassroots football team has them.

The brand-new boots.
The lucky boots.
The “I’ve had these for years” boots.
The boots that somehow survive every season.
And the boots that definitely should have been retired by now.

Whatever pair you turn up in, it’s just good to be on the pitch.

Open sessions run every Wednesday in June, 7:30–9pm. Message us for details.
