Heard and seen some shocking things in grassroots football recently from people that have direct influence on young players. If your main focus is winning over developing young players then you need to re-evaluate your position. ALL PLAYERS have the right to play no matter what.

Well it’s that time of year when the season is over and the preparation for next season begins 😮‍💨 Nice conditioning session tonight for my ballers 💪🏼 lots of plyometrics tonight to really test the players.

So as the season approaches its end we are preparing for pre season and all the joys that it brings 😬 Lots of high intensity speed and plyometrics work with a sprinkle of strength and core stability thrown in 💪🏼 Lots to look forward to for my players over the next few weeks ready for summer tournaments and next season ⚽️

This is so true, so many coaches out there believe they are the Pep of grassroots and make youngsters feel like they’re not good enough by leaving them out or on the bench 🤨 Your job is to encourage and develop players not win football matches. Yes it’s nice to win but most kids forget about the results from Sunday the next day but what they won’t forget is not getting much playing time 🤷🏼‍♂️ Let the kids play

Great work this evening from all of my JKA ballers 👌🏼 Maddocks, Zack, Santi and River all smashed it. Got a bit wet and slippery by the 3rd session but we had fun 💪🏼 Well done boys

Had a rare morning off of coaching so went to watch 2 of my players go against each other in a cup match…. A very good game which was decided by penalties.
Well done Bay and Harry who both gave a good account of themselves today with a solid performance.

Also had the bonus of another of my players playing on the next pitch and see him score a good penalty 👌🏼 Well played Arthur , a great team effort and a quality performance .

Finally I heard of another of my JKA ballers getting himself on the scoresheet and helping his team to a win 💪🏼 Well done Carter and his Horndean Hawks teammates, keep up the good work
