Working on maintaining just below threshold negative splits. First β€˜long’ run in a week. Felt good. Why are some days a real struggle to maintain high tempo and others not so much?
Must be a good day.
Too wet outside so treadmill it was. Got a 60 min PB with the lovely Becs Gentry too !! Bonus. Looking to push for that 6mph pace for the GSR as long as the knee will hold. Slowly pushing the pace.

Working on my run progression. Really happy to see a sub 10 minute mile as I am such a slow burner. Onwards an upwards as I start the new program in a weeks time. Mixing it up with a weight progression program too. Let’s get that sub 30 minute 5km. πŸ‘πŸ»

A 20 min all out effort on the treadmill this morning to test my fitness as part of an 8 week running program followed by a powerzone max ride as part of week 7 of the cycling challenge.
I will get fitter and then I will get stronger!!

So we are riding ahead on week 4 of the summer challenge. Got a bit spicy with some zone 6 intervals with Dennis Morton. Good job I’m not looking at the program ahead of time πŸ˜‚ cheeky little PB too.

I Scaled push ups after first round to knees & ring rows.

Getting back the strength is going to take a while
