‼️Just a reminder that numbers on a scale shouldn’t be the main thing you use to calculate progress ‼️
Picture to the left was December 2021 weighing 69kg
Picture on the right is March 2022 weighing 72kg
But I’ve still managed to slim down slightly and notice progress in my lifts including both strength and technique

LOW CALORIE HIGH PROTEIN
🦐Prawnssss
I know they’re not everyone’s cup of tea but if you’re a fan, I highly recommend incorporating them in your diet. They’re a great source of protein and not high in calories so having them as a snack or a meal in general
I batch cooked these ones and it was so quick and simple to prepare!
🍤2 packs of headless raw prawns - peel them and devein them (longest part lol)
🍤marinate them with your choice of seasonings, this time I used soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, siracha hot sauce, all purpose and basil
🍤 (optional) make a base sauce, I cooked some onion, garlic, fresh tomatoes, tomato purée, paprika, chilli and some water
🍤add your prawns and cook for a couple minutes each side! So easy 😁
I had mine with pasta today and rice yesterday, or you can have it as a side on its own

I used to look at myself in the mirror and think oh jeez I don’t look any different but need to remind myself how far I’ve come.. not just physically but mentally too
The gym and exercising is my escape, not just a job for me, and I’m sure it is for a lot of people as well
4 more weeks guys and we’re back🤩 let’s keep grinding and doing what we can to stay sane and get through the weeks to come

The weather is getting nicer, the days are getting longer and we’ve got a sense of normality coming our way! 🌞🤩
The main thing I’ve heard people say the last month or so is ‘I’ve lost motivation’. I’ll be honest with you, there are days where I struggle to leave my bed and it’s been hard with so much uncertainty with what is happening over the next few months. But we have our ‘road map’ now and gyms are aiming to open 12th April.

Chicken and rice but add a little bit of ✨spice✨
Not always plain chicken and rice for a healthy meal. All natural ingredients, high protein and within my calories. Instead of using canned stuff like chopped tomatoes, I like to cook food with fresh tomatoes, a little bit of tomato purée and water. I also add other veg like peppers/spinach/grated courgette, to make sure I get my veg in the meal. Chicken is alwayssss seasoned of course and I like to try different flavours with rice, so with this dish I used a pinch of salt and dried thyme!
Apologies for the inactivity on this account, I’m still here I promise 🙋🏼♀️ my hip is still in recovery so it’s been hard to exercise. I’ve been keeping my head in the books and planning to come back stronger and smarter 🤓

Evening!! Gyms are reopening but most of them still aren’t doing classes! Even though we got the go ahead to go outdoors I’ve had lots of feed back that during winter everyone is keen to do it from the comfort of their home so with the times below I’ll be continuing zoom classes! All you need is yourself and some floor space, it’s all body weight exercises targeting both cardio and strength based workouts and everything can be adjusted for individual fitness levels!
