We don’t want to be killjoys, but barbecues cause so much damage to grassed areas that there really is no alternative other than having the ban at parks. We have had reports of people tipping hot burning coal into bins!

We have seen over the last few weeks how wildfires are spreading, so please don’t light BBQ and bonfires. We need to rely on people to follow the rules and protect our parks and wildlife.
