✨🌟MINORS EVENT THIS SUNDAY 🌟✨The competition is open to Athletes in Yr 1 – Yr 8 (Under 8 to Under 14’s) and you must compete in the same year as all season.
The cost is £4 for Watford Harriers members and £8 for non-members, for up to three events.
Please can we ask you to bring the correct money in cash.
Registration in our Clubhouse will commence at 9.15am and close at 10.15am, where event forms will need to be completed and race numbers collected.
At 10.15am the warm up will take place followed by the start of the competitions.
An estimated timetable for the competition is attached – please note the timetable has changed to incorporate England Athletics new age changes.
To register please enter the clubhouse via the main entrance and once you have your numbers please exit the clubhouse as quick as possible through the side doors towards the track.
Results (times and distance’s) will be loaded onto the Harriers website in the week following the competition.
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED AT THIS EVENT.
We need parent volunteers to help on the day, to ensure the event can take place, with jobs like raking the long jump pits, collecting shot puts. If you are willing to help, please let one of the Coaches/Harriers committee members know – all they need is your name, your email & how long you can help for. Alternatively, please email your details to : [email protected]
Guidance will be provided so don’t be overwhelmed…it’s easy really!

😎 We are excited to confirm that Cassiobury parkrun have kindly agree another Parkrun 'volunteer week' with Watford Harriers 😎

🏃🏾‍♀️‍➡️ Saturday 2nd May : Cassiobury Park, Race start 9am (meet by the bandstand) 🏃‍♂️

🌳 Parkrun is the weekly 5K in Cassiobury Park. Last year hit a near record attendance when Watford Harriers turned up! We will bring our marquee and some goodies to share with everyone.

👮 We need Marshal Volunteers! Marshalling is easy and extremely rewarding. There are plenty of roles to choose from - a full briefing is provided by the amazing Cassiobury parkrun team....

Chiltern League Success!

Huge well done to all those who competed in this years Chiltern League competition. Whether you took part in 1 or all 5 races your Club is proud of you all. The Club had fantastic attendance at all matches with lots of new faces from U11 up to Veterans and we hope to see you all again next year.

We would also like to thank parents, guardians, grandparents for driving to all the fixtures and supporting your children and others in the club.

Special thanks go to Rob and Gene for manning the tent at each competition and to our Team Managers, Rob, Rebecca, Hannah and Louise.

We are pleased to announce 2 individual winners:
Eimear - U15 gold medalist
Gina - U20 silver medalist.

We are also pleased to confirm team winners:
U11 boys - Bronze medalist
U13 girls - Silver medalist
U15 girls - Gold medalist
We will communicate in the coming weeks the date we will be presenting medals.

Once again well done to everyone this season and we look forward to seeing those of you who are U14 upwards competing in the Track season at EYAL or SAL competitions.
