Congratulations to our very own Mathew AJAYI along with team mates Divine Iheme, Savannah Mckenzie Morgan and Sophie Thomas of Team GB. Smashing the world U20 record in the mixed 4x100-meter relay in 41.60 seconds... to advance to the final at the World Athletics U20 Championships! 💥

Herts Road Relay Championships

Watford Harriers were well represented at the Hertfordshire Senior & Veterans Road Relay Championships in Stevenage, fielding a team of 16 senior and veteran athletes. Competing against around 600 runners from clubs across the region, the standard was exceptionally high, with the fastest individual leg of the day recorded in under nine minutes.

Despite the fierce competition, the Harriers produced an excellent set of performances.

Congratulations to everyone who took part and represented the club. It was fantastic to see such strong performances across all our teams.

A special mention goes to Matt Robins, who finished an outstanding 5th, and Oli Cooper, who secured 9th place, giving Watford Harriers two athletes in the overall top ten.

There was also podium success for our Mixed Veterans Team, who claimed the silver medal. Congratulations to Kathryn Maynard, Helen Macauley, Stuart Borrill, and Scott Donald on a superb achievement.

Well done to all our athletes for flying the Watford Harriers flag with pride and delivering another memorable day of racing.
