Garston Bowls 1937 - 2019

Saddened to report of the sudden passing on Tuesday 9th December 2025 of Stan Brooker former long standing member, Captain and Club Coach. Our thoughts are with Steve, Julie his extended family and friends. May he rest in peace.

A huge congratulations to Donna, Kathy & Lorraine who came Runners Up in the Woman’s National Triples.
After a superb game vs Lincolnshire, congratulations to Ruby, Chelsea & Amy 👏, which went back and forth throughout, the Headington trio just lost out, but as always they’ve done themselves & the County proud, and one hell on an achievement.

Thanks for the memories and laughter both on and off the green. We will miss you but never far from our thoughts as we remember the good times. Until we meet again. Thoughts with Grace, your brothers and extended family especially your grandchildren of whom you can be very proud. Rest in peace.

Farewell to another Garston Club Life Member. Farewell Mo, our thoughts are with your family today hopefully also reunited with your beloved Ron and Stewart. Thanks for the memories! A wee drop tonight to celebrate your life and outstanding contribution along with the happy memories made at Garston Bowls Club.
