Instructor - Danny Leigh
My passion for sports such as Karate and Swimming from a young age lead me to study a National Diploma in Sports Science. This is where i was first introduced to the gym where I learnt first hand how amazing the benefits are form proper, effective training.

I want to make a positive impact on your life by changing your lifestyle for the healthier. We will achieve the best you possibly can through exciting training programs and tasty nutrition.

Our exercise of the day!⁠

⭐ Lunges ⭐⁠

Practising and developing your lunge technique is important for strengthening your: ⁠
✅ Hips
✅ Hamstrings
✅ Glutes
✅ Core

To perform this exercise, stand up nice and tall with your feet hip width apart.

Brace your core as you begin to step into the lunge.

Lower your body until your leading thigh is parallel to the floor and right shin is vertical.

Press into your leading heel to drive back up to starting position. Alternate legs after each rep.

🤔 You can also try this exercise stepping backwards!

Our exercise of the day!⁠

⭐The Plank ⭐⁠

Practising the plank every day help to: ⁠
✅ Strengthen your core.⁠
✅ Improve your balance.⁠
✅ Increase muscle definition.⁠
✅ Improve your posture.⁠

To perform this exercise, lean onto your forearms, keeping your elbows directly under your shoulders. ⁠

Brace your core, lift your knees up so you are on your toes, and keep your legs together. ⁠

Make sure you are keeping your back straight, without dropping your hips too low or raising them too high.⁠

There are many variations of this exercise! If you want to make this harder, come up onto your hands into the raised plank.⁠
