Sunday, August 3 saw the return of our perennial monthly Club tournament for all standards.

Playing in perfect conditions, Sarah W and Nathan P were worthy winners of the latest round.

Donuts and cookies were enjoyed.

Organised as ever by the indefatigable Audrey Adams and Michael Hirst, the next round is on Sunday, September 7, starting at 0945.

Entry closes at 1700 on the preceding Thursday.

If you are new to the club, the "American" is a great way to meet other members and begin new friendships.

Look out for the entry form in the members-only newsletter or scan the QR code on the poster at the clubhouse.

If you aren’t a member already, what’s stopping you? The American Tournament is a great way to quickly make new friends at the best value tennis club in the area.

In direct response to the member survey in May, Facilities Manager Martin Rowland will be installing a Tassimo coffee machine in the clubhouse.

He asks that, to keep the kitchen clean, safe and welcoming, please:

Bring your own Tassimo coffee pods. These can be recycled - pop them in the small recycling bin!

Clean up after yourself. Wipe the machine and surrounding areas once you’re done.

Put your cup in the dishwasher. If the dishwasher is full and hasn’t been started, please switch it on. If it's done, please unload it before adding your cup, or just wash and put away your cup by hand.
