🎉🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR VERY OWN STUBBY! 💚🖤🏉

Today we're celebrating Joseph Mitchell (Stubby)— not just a fantastic rugby player, but a brilliant friend and a proper part of the Wednesbury Rugby Club family! 🍻💪

Stubby is one of those lads who makes this club what it is. A great player who gives it his all on the pitch, a top bloke off it, and someone who is genuinely loved and appreciated by everyone around him. It's people like you who make Wednesbury more than just a rugby club — we're a family, and we're lucky to have you as part of it. 💚🖤

So today, leave the tackles, bruises and muddy boots behind for a bit and enjoy your special day! 😂🍻 Here's to more tries, more laughs, more unforgettable memories and plenty more years representing the green and black!

Have a belter of a birthday, Stubby! You absolute legend! 🥳🏉

From everyone at Wednesbury Rugby Club, have the best day, mate! 💚🖤

🏆 2007 — PLAYERS’ AWARDS EVENING! 🏆

This week, we’re heading back to 2007 and revisiting another memorable evening in Wednesbury Rugby Club’s history! 💚🖤

The Players’ Awards Evening was a chance to celebrate the lads who pulled on the Wednesbury shirt, recognise their efforts throughout the season and enjoy a night together away from the rugby pitch.

From the hard work on the training ground to the battles on matchday, it’s the players, friendships and shared memories that make this club what it is today.

📸 Let’s see how many familiar faces you can spot!

Do you recognise anyone in these photos? Can you remember who picked up the awards that evening? And who remembers a few stories from 2007? 😂

Tag your former teammates, share your memories and let’s get the comments going! 👇

🎉🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR FIRST TEAM CAPTAIN – MUFFIN! 🏉🖤💚

Everyone at Wednesbury Rugby Club would like to wish Ryan Haseldine, aka Muffin, a very happy birthday! 🥳

A man who has earned the respect of everyone at the club, both on and off the pitch. The hard work, commitment and effort you put into the team never go unnoticed, doing what you can to help Wednesbury move forward. 💪🏉

Being a captain is about more than wearing the armband — it's about setting standards, bringing people together and leading from the front, and that's exactly what you do. We're lucky to have you leading our first team, and your dedication to the club is massively appreciated. 👏

Have a top day, Muffin! Enjoy yourself, put your feet up (if you're allowed 😂) and make sure you get treated like the legend you are!

Happy Birthday, Captain! 🥳💚🖤
