So after the issues we had with the rvf 400 at the classic TT, I changed the headgaskets and decided to put a late entry in for Mallory Park, EMRA round 5 to use as a test day, we took the lads with us too as they love the bikes, hadn't raced at mallory for some years and it's such an amazing circuit, we still have the overheating problem with the rvf but now know what needs doing to put it right, had an ok,ish first race getting back into the circuit and having a good battle with an sv650 for most of the race, but was 5 seconds a lap off what I used to do round there on the rvf which was 1minute laps, second race was better and again having a great fun battling with the same sv650 but getting the better of him on the last lap and taking 3 seconds a lap off from first race but had to pull in as the bike overheated and started to steam out the expansion tank 🙄, but came away smiling and really enjoyed the relaxed paddock atmosphere, nice to see some old friends and family, and the boys really enjoyed themselves and riding the circuit on their mountain bikes, and we met a guy who contacted us at the classic TT from our neck of the woods with a potential possibility of riding a very special bike going forward, but nothing set in stone at the moment 🙏🤞,
Plan now is to get the rvf ready for the stars at Darley meeting and maybe get to race the mentioned bike 👍👍 #75

Wheelie Wednesday from Balaugh Bridge, not many pics of the classic 500 as I only got out once, with ecu issues which left us around 20mph down through the speed trap, hopefully get another crack at it next year 🤞🤞

That's our classic TT over, me and Sam have worked so hard whilst here, weather was pretty crap at the start of practic...

That's our classic TT over, me and Sam have worked so hard whilst here, weather was pretty crap at the start of practice week so delays in getting laps in on the bikes, then finally getting out and finding things that needed doing to the bikes, so having late nights and early mornings sorting bikes as there was just me and Sam, I started missing practice sessions as I was waiting for parts, although, then all the racing was brought forward to avoid the incoming bad weather which left us short of laps, there was one more session left to gain laps but the bikes weren't ready as I was working alone on them, so missed that final chance, went to see race control but couldn't allow me to race as a newcomer with out the required laps,
The bikes didn't have anything seriously wrong and if racing hadn't been brought forward would have been finished in time and still got my laps in, I managed 4 laps and 1 newcomer lap, riding the tt course was absolutely awesome and really hope I get the chance to do it again next year,
Big thanks to everyone that helped getting us here, will make sure I have a team from day 1 if I get the chance to do it next year 👍👍

Practice was cancelled yesterday evening due to rain across most of the tt course, we'd spent the day preppin the classic 500/4, managed to get out for 2 laps with good friend Barry Wood in his car, which has helped big time, fingers crossed we get a break in the weather and get out this evening, need as many laps as possible to get up to qualifying speeds and I desperately want to take the 500 out on the TT course,

Today I got to ride the legendary TT mountain course on closed roads for the first time, I was expecting to come back with a massive smile and buzzing, unfortunately I didn't, firstly the rvf was running crap due to the ram air scoop falling apart at pre tt and decided to try it with out one, big mistake, I've made a make due scoop that will hopefully resolve the fuelling issue, it also filled the radiator expansion tank and covered my visor, was glad to get back to the paddocks, it's not unusual for me not to gel with a track first time out, so looking forward to getting back out there with the bikes sorted, giving my head a wobble and getting stuck in,
Weather's turned sh*te now but fingers crossed we get a break from the rain and get some laps in,
