We would like to wish our Crew Chief Alan Grimes a very happy 70th birthday 🎂

Alan has been with the Daddy Cool team since our driver Faye was one month old. That's been a total of 35 years, which equates to half of Alan's life!

The whole team would like to take this opportunity on Alan's significant milestone birthday to thank him for his dedication, friendship and long standing support over the years.🏁

What a fantastic (and incredibly hot🥵) weekend Dragstalgia was! First ever trophy win for Big Bro, coming 6th place in the Wild Bunch 🏆🥳 Well done Kyle and team 💪🏻 The team and Big Bro will be at Tatton Park Stars And Stripes in Cheshire this coming weekend (4th-5th July), with the next race meeting being the Mopar Euro Nationals Santa Pod Raceway (7th-9th August). At Nostalgia Nationals, a gearbox issue meant we found out the hard way that the rev limiter does not work!! The engine saw 10,000rpm!!!! However, everything is salvageable (apart from the bearings). We are hoping to be back together for Mopar Nationals. We are also having to do some upgrades to the valve train as we saw some issues we are not happy with there too. Daddycool will be back! 🏁🏎️😎

Last weekend at the Nostalgia Nationals, Santa Pod Raceway saw Chloe Southworth’s debut as BUG-in-training for Big Bro, under the wing of our very talented and experienced Daddy Cool BUG Shana Smith. They did a fantastic job, ensuring the drivers are safe and ready to launch 🏁

A weekend of highs and lows for Team DCR:

🖤 The weather stayed with us for a full weekend of racing at the Nostalgia Nationals, Santa Pod Raceway

💛 Daddy Cool managed a few start ups in the pits and a burnout on track before sustaining damage to the top end of the engine

❤️ Big Bro set some massive PBs after only a few full passes on the track, achieving PB ET 8.97s and Speed 147mph!! Huge congratulations to Kyle Southworth

🏁 We are hoping to both be out together again at Dragstalgia 26th-28th June

Thanks to Adrian Flux Insurance Services for your continued support
