With one last race left in the 2026 Nostalgia Cannonball season Wendy Baker and the gang will sure be looking to get the car down the track further than what they did at the MOPARS.

This stunning Ford Mustang sure is a fan-favourite and is always great to see out on track!

FORD SKIPP in the “CHASIN’ TIME” Blown Methanol Slingshot has officially entered the NSRA HOT ROD DRAGS at Santa Pod Raceway in 2 weeks’ time!

It was Dad Alan who entered the last race at the MOPARs, but it wasn’t meant to be for the team that weekend.

This time around it’s Ford entering and he holds the car’s PB with a stellar 7.31 & 178mph!

It will be great to see just what the team can do and how far they can go in Nostalgia Cannonball competition at the NSRA Hot Rod Drags to close-out the 2026 racing season. 🏁

*NSRA HOT ROD DRAGS 2026 - ENTRY UPDATE*

ROBIN READ has officially entered the NSRA HOT ROD DRAGS at Santa Pod Raceway in 2 weeks’ time. He will be running “The Little Car” - a Nostalgia Rear-Engined Dragster powered by a nitro-burning 2.5 Daimler! 👀

Robin and the gang are coming off a WIN at the 32nd Annual MOPAR Euro Nationals where Robin beat Mark Luton in the final round to take home the trophy.

The trophy was a truly-deserved accolade as Robin and the team had “the little car” running on MEAN all-weekend-long!

Robin also finished runner-up at the race prior to the MOPARS, Dragstalgia, where there were 19 cars in competition!

2026 has been a really good year for Robin Read Racing and they most certainly could walk away with the final trophy of the year in two weeks’ time! 🏆

Andrew and his Dad Mark are still very eager indeed to get the first 200mph pass for this car, what better time to get it done than at the last race of the year? 🏁

Once again Mark Flavell will make a test run in the car on the Friday, before Andrew Flavell jumps in to the seat for Q1 Saturday.
