Three mums, three completely different lives


But the same starting point.

Rachael, Sara and Danii all came into The Freedom Project as Base Camp Mums.

Exhausted, overwhelmed and wondering if they’d ever actually crack it.

They’d all tried before, all had moments where it felt like it was finally clicking.

And they’d all ended up back at the start.

Not because they weren’t trying hard enough but because they were trying with the wrong starting point.

So we started with three simple things.

First, the DCM System.

A flexible calorie system that works for real mum life, with a simple meal structure and enough flexibility to actually stick to it.

Then the Feedback System.

Instead of letting the scales decide how the week went, we picked two or three simple things to track twice a week.

This is the bit that stops mums throwing the whole week away after a bad Monday weigh in.

Then the Ritual.

A simple daily tool so that weight loss had somewhere to fit inside a busy life instead of constantly competing with it.

Three systems, installed in the right order.

Built around the life they actually have, not the one they’re promising themselves on Monday.

And here’s what happened.

Rachael lost 30lbs and dropped 4 dress sizes.

She went on holiday, wore a bikini and wanted to be in the pictures.

Sara lost 64lbs.

She gets on the slides with her kids, goes to a dance class every week just for the fun of it and is living a life she couldn’t before.

Danii lost 22lbs and dropped two dress sizes.

She’s returning clothes because they’re too big and is about to start resistance training because her confidence is there now.

Three different women, three different results, one process.

“I know what to do, I just can’t seem to do it consistently.”

If that sounds familiar, this is for you.

Most mums I work with say exactly that.

And for a long time they’ve believed the problem is them.

Their discipline, their willpower, their consistency.

It’s not.

The problem is they’re following advice designed for someone at a completely different stage.

Some mums already have momentum, routines and they’re training or moving regularly.

I call these Trail Mums.

But most of the mums I speak to are standing at Base Camp.

Exhausted, overwhelmed and trying to keep up with advice built for someone further up the mountain.

Hitting 10,000 steps daily.
