River Severn: Newtown to Abermule 🤩

A great first trip back out! Of course we have to share this weekends trip before any other exciting updates and news 😀
Also a huge well done to Fraiser for doing so well on his first river trip 😊

On our River Severn trip today (Dolerw Park to Abermule) we have found a Pyranha Peak Stunt 300 kayak stuck in some trees. Rough co-ordinates provided for it's current location - we dragged it up halfway up the bank
It looks like it had been attempted to be rescued as there was part of a tow line attached to the handle but had been cut.

We hope the owner of the kayak sees this post and is all safe and well.

We are BACK 💥

Thank you everyone for your patience with the club, our unforeseen circumstances are now resolved and we can start getting back to normal activities 🤩

As our members will know there has been a few changes within the club, but we have some new plans and ideas in the works so keep your eyes peeled! 👀

To kick us off, today was our AGM! This is where the base of the new plans/ideas have been discussed and will begin to develop from and we look forward to sharing more with you all soon 🙌

This autumn, we're bringing clubs, coaches and volunteers together from across Wales for a series of development events designed to share ideas, build skills and strengthen our paddlesport community.
