As the season draws to a close, we're going to be shutting on Sundays. The last Sunday we're open is the 27th September.

Well done Fitmums and Friends ☺️👍

Just four months ago, we launched our dragon boat programme for people affected by breast cancer which we deliver in partnership with WWAC and HER breast friends.

Today we used our newfound skills to put on an inter club challenge to showcase the wonderful activity of Dragon boat racing.

Thanks to a team of volunteer Helms, who only qualified in May and today had to manage incredibly windy conditions, they nonetheless helped people experience the fun of this fabulous activity.

Huge thank you to the 10 teams who joined us today representing clubs and activities from across the Fitmums and Friends network. Your costumes, effort and team spirit were simply amazing. The beautiful Race momento of a mini wooden paddle were made by Beverley Men in Sheds -New Thank you!

Congratulations to the winners today Weighton Warriors who received a gold mini paddle.

Big thanks of course to all volunteers who helped us today and especially to all at Welton Waters Activities Centre
