Welcome to Theatretrain Welwyn-Hatfield! We are a theatre school for 3 - 18 year olds. Everyone is welcome - no previous experience necessary! Each week, every student learns to dance, sing and act whilst building important life skills such as confidence, team work, resilience and so much more. Aside from weekly classes, we also hold holiday workshops. In addition, we offer other opportunities such as theatre trips, shows, exams, theme weeks and more! We are also Ofsted registered, and accept childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare payments. Free trials are available for all new students too!

In Theatretrain classes, children learn to listen to instructions, music and each other, developing concentration, communication and the ability to respond as part of a team.

Through acting, singing and dancing, children are encouraged to take small steps outside their comfort zone and discover just how much they are capable of. 💛

But somewhere between the warm-up and the final bow they'll also learn how to...

Listen.

Work with other people.

Recover when something goes wrong.

Speak up.

Take responsibility.

Try again.

Support someone else.

And have the confidence to give something a go even when they're nervous. Those are pretty useful skills to take into the rest of life. That's why we believe performing arts are about so much more than performing.
