It is with great sadness that we share the news that Geoff Sharp, an extremely talented aviation engineer has passed away. He will be greatly missed by all of those that knew him, and it leaves the aviation industry without a great avionics master to call upon.
A celebration of Geoff’s life will be held on Friday 28th April at 1500hrs at EGBT (by the Akki Hangar). The runway will be closed at about 1445hrs to allow the hearse to drive up, escorted by Chris Brown taxi-ing. Therefore, if you intend to fly in, please PPR and allow enough time for this.
For those who intend to drive there, the exact location can be found on Google by searching for Akki Aviation/Vision Aerospace@ Turweston Aerodrome, Brackley, NN13 5YD. There will be plenty of parking space alongside the hangars on the main road along with some signage to direct you. As Geoff was a recovering alcoholic only soft drinks will be available afterward.

Finally, there is only one request which is for you, which is to wear a high viz hat and white socks in memory of Geoff. 😊
