HERE is how I feel the leanest and healthiest in my late 30’s compared to my 20’s 👇🏼

WITHOUT starving myself, spending hours in the gym or giving up my favourite foods.

5 things you can start NOW to feel the same!

1️⃣ Eat meals that actually keep me full!

No more snacking all day, skipping meals only to overeat all evening! Write down your breakfast, lunch, dinner and 1 snack for the week on a Sunday evening and stick to it.
Don’t restrict any foods! A balanced diet is key and helps to avoid cravings because you are allowing yourself everything 🙌🏼

2️⃣ Prioritise protein

I know you have heard that word sooo many times, it’s literally a fitness coaches fave word BUT it’s because it’s true. Protein is key! This will keep you full and when you start basing your meals around a protein source it becomes so much easier to get it in.

3️⃣ Move more 🚶🏻‍♀️

Don’t over complicate this one, move your body more. Add 1-2k to your step goal every week, park further away, walk while on calls, take the stairs. All these small things add up.

4️⃣ Drink 2 litres minimum daily 💦

Honestly keeping hydrated helps massively. A lot of the time our hunger cues are actually due to being thirsty so get that water in.

5️⃣ Be more intentional with evening eating!

The amount of women I speak to who tend to snack mindlessly at night out of habit!
Mums I get it, having something sweet to look forward to in the evening just hits differently, but let’s PLAN that evening snack, you don’t need to avoid it.

And finally, I am throwing in a bonus one because why not 👇🏼

6️⃣ Sleep 💤

Sleep helps with fat loss so try to get 7-8 hours a night. Easier said than done I know 🙄 but work on that evening routine as it will help!

I’ve been reflecting on what confidence with our ladies really means 🫶🏼

Confidence isn’t something you’re born with, it’s a belief you BUILD by working on yourself ✨

I want you to picture this 💭

🖤 You throw on a bikini and can’t believe what you see in the mirror, no more covering up and you feel confident AF!

🖤 You stop being the Mum hiding behind your kids in the family photos or picking yourself apart when you look back at them

🖤 You put on a dress that you feel good in and ask your partner/friend to take photos of you 🥹

You see, these desires weren’t achieved by HOPING to wake up with confidence one day

They’re achieved by the decisions you continuously make in the background when no one is watching 💯

On the days you’re unmotivated to go to the gym, but you go anyway.

When you’re feeling low but stay strong in your mind, instead of falling into the all or nothing trap!

By the promises you make to yourself to hit your fitness non-negotiables, even if you can’t be bothered.

So that when you show up in public, you KNOW the work is already done, the confidence is already there 🙌🏼

And it speaks before you even say a word!
