We have just had a XS 990 with twin V 8 F 300 Verado motors all on a 3 axle Van Claes Trailer just come on to the market. This craft was supplied by us in 2019 and has less than 100 hours use and 2 years manufacturers warranty to run on the motors. This craft is coded for 8 persons and comes with all the equipment required, Liferaft, Anchors etc etc.

Over the week end of 27th February we were at the RYA Suzuki Dinghy and Water Sports Show at Farnborough Exhibition Complex. We took an XS 500 fitted with DF 50 ATL Suzuki and were on the Suzuki stand. This was a really well attended and impressive show. If the British Marine Federation / National Boat Shows are out there reading this they need to sit up and take notice, this is how to run a boat show ........

There is huge mileage in increasing the water sports side of this show and what a venue, excellent all round. If we accept children are the future of any activity the number of children at the show goes to demonstrate that Dinghy Sailing has a HUGE future and the whole event goes to prove you do not Need Sunseeker and Princess to make a show work !

The XS 500 is off to Skerriers Sailing Club in Dublin this week to add to the boats they already have.

Immerse Hebrides, offer wild swimming and many other things on Lewis and Harris in the outer Hebrides, they have a XS 850 with Twin Mercury Outboards and are based on the west coast of Lewis. This is a fully coded passenger craft again supplied as a turn key boat all ready to work.

We bumped in to them in the Summer of 2021 when we are up there with our own 850 / F 350

A fully coded commercial XS 750 Dive boat off to the North East, powered by a pair of Mercury 115 hp with deck mountings for a surface supply mixing panel forward of the console.

This went as a turn key package ready to work.

There is a Apple TV Series being made at the moment that follows the US 8th Airforce based in the UK during WW2. It is called Masters of the Air

Mr Spielberg and Mr Hanks are very keen on detail and problem was they needed 2 x B 17 Bomber liferafts. Needless to say you can not buy new ones easily !

We had an original one to work from and we made 2 identical replicas. Amazing dinghy with inflatable seats single point inflation via a gas bottle and a shape that gave a rise to the tube at either end that was VERY DIFFICULT to re-create. All this on something made 80 years ago
